Those are both fine ideas, but if you watched to the end of the video, I got these specifically for the shallow drawers I use in my portable tool boxes. Those boxes go with me to the junkyards. Those tool boxes fit real nice on my junkyard tool rig.

Screw the harbor freight ones to a 1x2 “ lumber and place a drawer pull on it. Works great that way and the bolt heads act like that locking strip you fabricated

I bolted the older ones he has to a piece of wood and I use it for odds and ends then I got the 3 row olsa magnetic organizer and multiple mechanics time savers organizers for my sets... I have one snap on set I got on sale for 500 with the foam organizer 6-19mm semi length then it has rows for Deep and shallows but I have not filled them yet... I know you don't give a shit but I thought I would share lol

How did you mix your on one bar?

There are little caps at the end of the bar. Just pop them off, and the holders will slide off. Pop the caps back on when done.
