Thanks for posting the video. Very interesting ideas. A CyberBeast with extended battery seems to be the best vehicle for to optimize both fun and range.

Actually. AWD gets better range than Beast.

Thanks for doing this detail video of the trailer. I was curious after the teaser on it last video. I realize that you are experimenting and exploring with this new tec and trying to tweak what’s available to complete a full package to accomplish your goal. Your passion is clear and appreciated. Looking forward to seeing what you discover and come up with next.

Thanks so much I appreciate it. We are working with several different companies from thin film solar, to wind fairings to the newest and most capable batteries, should be fun.

Every campground with power to the campsite is a gas station…never thought of that. Good video, thanks.

Nice! Hyper camper setup. It would be cool to see how the CyberTruck FSD drives towing your hypercamper while traveling as long you can do it safely.

Currently FSD will not function while towing. It does have traffic aware cruise control. Hoping it improves to lane control soon.

I have been to the factory in China where many of the Australian campers are built. Wondering about this one? It looks a lot better built than what I have seen coming from Asia. I found them to be a little on the crude side and a little heavy. I did a bit of research regarding charging my Rivian from my RV batteries, pulling that trailer we can only get about 20 miles, but maybe enough to get you out of a jam. Looks great behind your Tesla.

We hope to see better numbers with some modifications. You could also stay longer, drive slower, detach camper to get to charging, etc. Hoping good sized solar array will help, also shooting for 240v charging. Regarding Asia builds. Like everything, I think you can find good and bad quality everywhere. iPhone is made in Asia, fantastic product. Depending upon the Australian company and the camper model, different levels or all levels of work are still being done in Australia.

The ventilation on the roof seems to have an emergency escape port. You might not want to place a solar panel above it. I might be wrong. Very nice camper concept and execution.

The roof vent rough opening is 14" x 14", thats before any fan is installed. This is defiantly not for egress. The side European style window could certainly be used for escape. The good news, is that you don't ride in the back of this while traveling, so most of that risk is already mitigated. Thanks for the concern anyway. Happy holidays.

If you are going for weird and ugly, then you have succeeded. Have fun, stay safe and remember, the more complex the system, the more trouble you will have.

In the beginning, you said charge trailer from Cybertruck. Later you said charge Cybertruck from trailer. Remove the firewood box, install AC unit there. Don't mess with the existing house battery system. Simply plug in a large portable power station/supply. Have you seen the Lighthouse RV/trailer?
@CyberTruckOne
@CyberTruckOne 4 күн бұрын
We will be able to push power in either direction back and forth from camper to CT. Whatever the situation requires. We may install an AC split near the fire wood box or we may do a portable one through a window, since AC usage for us over the last 7 years of camping has been very limited. Have seen the Lighthouse, was at the grand opening. Super cool, I love the concept. That camper in my view is more for glamping than off roading. It's also about 250k. Out of most peoples budget. I wish them well and suspect they will do well in their market.

Yes, trying to decide if we go with Tesla destination charger or a Victron one. I suspect there are benefits to each.

You should have gotten a Chevy Silverado EV with 400+ plus miles of range and cheaper total cost than the Cyberjunk. It's a lost cost to tow in a Cyberjunk.
@CyberTruckOne

Not sure how you think it's cheaper, but the Chevy is cool. Why the hate? You still getting over MAGA?

@CyberTruckOne Chevy Silverado top trim $95,800 with 460 miles of range. Cyberjunk beast $100k with 310 miles of range 🫣. I care less about the politics, but given that you seem like a Tesla fanboy who throws money left to right who supports a person who is basically an immigrant illegal to be exact who didn't have a working Visa in the United States when he came. Go for it. Good luck with the reliability of your Cyberjunk.

@@CyberTruckOne You have no clue 🙄. He was born in Africa so his true nationality is African. He came from Canada then to U.S with a student visa then started working illegally work in the United States. He only became a naturalized U.S citizen in 2002 dumb ass 🫣. The fact that Trump keeps bringing up Obama citizenship and now is taking orders from narcissists naturalized citizen is truly pathetic. Go enjoy your piece or junk and overpriced fridge 🫣🤣. I can't wait to see when you start posting things about your Cyberjunk 🤣🫣.

The hate is real and people hide behind their posts. Haters will hate. Sad really. I was raised, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Keep exploring and trying new things.
