Finally, I found someone to go through this machine. I am buying this next week. They are mounting this on smaller table for me. I alter clothes and am fed up with the domestic overlocker not being able to sew through heavy fabric.

Based on their website what I can see is the The MO-6800S Series responds to various kinds of sewing materials and processes. Hi, what about sequin fabrics? Should I get one thats has 4?

If you are doing anything with sequins i would suggested you to removed it from the seam allowance because the sequins could be hard or mess with the blade or something worse. All depend of the texture or how hard they are. Beside is a plastic thing and can be melt. You dont want a sequin inside the machine and melting and so on.

Sorry i am confused by your question. The seam allowance is needed in order to sew it. Depending of the fabrics or material you will decided if is 1/4 or more . I know if you made anything on CLO3d you wont need the seam allowance when you are making the garment on CLO3d Software. But any garment or pieces needs seam allowance if you dont added it will be smaller or shorter.

@ I believe the question is how do you determine the seam allowance when sewing with these machines? For example, I'm coming from a brother 1034d which had a marking on the presser foot as well as notches on the threading door to determine the seam allowance. I just picked up a Juki 6814 and was wondering the same as the OP... How do you know where to place the fabric for your specific seam allowance?

How do you put the belt on the machine. I am having an issue with the belt being too loose. Maybe they gave me the wrong belt for a different machine. Does anyone have a tutorial on how to put the belt on?

Hey! You can buy the belt. You need to check the machine and see the number of the belt. I know you can buy the correct size. I am not sure if you can adjusted it. If you are in the Detroit Metro Area I can give you the name of the best tech i ever met in regards sewing machine.

I think you can but is not like a something easy to do. The machine is designed to cut the pieces. Now if you are good at it you can get away without cut anything

Is this machine can use 1needle and 3 threads!?

This machine only used 2 top needle. For garment you don’t need more than 2 needles
