FYI: redgarding systemen requirements, the kinhank advises a minimum of 1050ti gpu and a cpu like a i5 or higher sadly it does not state wich generation but i would go minimum 8th gen and up especially when you want to play recent arcade games with TeknoParrot, and also when you want smooth gameplay for 3D emulation, nintendo switch, ps2 and ps3 just letting u guys know upfront

I reviewed 3 12tb hdds. There is this one that has Hyperspin, launchbox, playnite installed. All these are different ways to load the roms. Another HDD just has Hyperspin. I enjoy having all the roms in 1 place but it is hard to tinker with the settings. So if a game does not work it is very difficult to trouble shoot. You will be able to trouble shoot roms on this video easier. The 3rd hdd I reviewed just has playnite and focus just on newer released games. They all worked but didn't have a lot of retro games.

There is no list that I know of. Exiting is going to depend on the system. For some it will be start and select. others Q on keyboard or escape.

This could be the best emulation drive ever if it was actually worked on and not just dragged and dropped. They just took a old hyperspin build and dropped it inside the new hyperspin attraction mode build so everything is mixed with old and new stuff so alot of emulators are oudated and there is alot of duplicates which makes it look like a disaster

Hi I was interested to buying this and just wanted to know how user friendly this is cause I’m not tech savvy but am a plug n play gamer when it comes to computer gaming. My question was since this hardrive is expensive is it worth buying if my preference of games are mostly the heavy games like gta 5 god of war pc spiderman pc last of us uncharted legacy and Batman Arkham games also emulators like switch ps3 and Xbox and Xbox 360 games I do have a high end pc it has ryzen 9 with and reason 16ram and about 4.something ghz. I know this won’t be perfect but is it worth it. And how will I be able to update the emulators without messing up the hard drive. And where is the best place to purchase it. any advice…

I can only recommend this one with Launchbox if you are willing to learn how to do a little bit of configurations. I can answer questions if you get this device and possibly make how to videos if you get stuck. However, if you just want a lot of recent games, go with the playnite version in my other video. It is literally plug and click the game you want to play.

Hello. What brand of Light Gun works with gun games on this HDD? Maybe you can please do some test with Light guns.

Light gun games require a CRT. LCD screens need an attachment that surrounds the monitor to work with light games. I use a mouse to play those games because I do not have a CRT.

Also some gun games are not light games so you have to use a controller or mouse. The games where the gun is attached to the cabinet.

You can use a Wii remote if you have a mayflash bar as a light gun. Also look up the Sinden lightgun or retro shooter. Your wrong on that one quickskillz. I love playing lightgun games on pc

I mentioned that light guns will not work without added attachments. The Sinden uses your mouse and built in sensors to estimate where you are shooting on screen. Technically not a light gun. I definitely need to try it out on these games though.

I ran it through my virus scanner. Nothing came up. However, I do not have it connected to a rig I care about. I would still proceed with caution. ⚠️

I originally thought this was a plug-in play product that you just plug into your HDMI cord on the TV but it doesn't work that way is it possible for this hard drive to be plugged into a Xbox or Playstation and will it play the games from there

Not that I know of. The hdd has very low pc requirements for a lot of the games. Are you able to connect it to a laptop? I connected mine to a laptop, then connected the laptop to a TV monitor.

I haven’t been able to get most of the PSP and Vita games to work in retrobat. Any advice on what settings I should change?

PSP should should pretty much work out of the box set the emulator to PPSSPP not the Retroarch core if you are using a system that has an intel IGPU only set the video drivers to open Open GL as intel IGPU's often throw a wobbly with the other drivers. As for PSVita this could be down to having the wrong drive letter look through the instruction manual and see which drive letter they suggest the drive should set to a lot of those drives from China usually set it to X:\ but do check that. I would heavily recommend going into the RetroBat section of RetroBat and updating as many of the Emulators as possible as the ones that come with it maybe several months out of date. I bought one of these drives although the smaller 5TB version a few months back and just ripped off all the roms and put together my own 6TB drive minus the sketchy AAA stuff on the drive and 4TB drive that just had the the top end handhelds and consuls on it. Doing this gives a better understanding of how everything works and allows you to set everything up just how you like none of the stuff that comes from China is truly "plug & play" and there's way too many duplicates.

Ive been having problems loading Naomi games on hyperspin because the roms load thru MAME instead of Demul it runs bad with mame how do you fix it?
