screen looks pretty clear even w hen zoomed in so yeah def might be worth it. got it for 40 bucks to use it mainly as a photo./video sharer with people so will see!

I might consider this as a replacement to an old iPod. So what’s the experience like in downloading and playing podcasts? I really like iTunes and google versions of its podcasts app left me disappointed- but that was 5 yrs ago.

I was always looking for an android counterpart to the iPod touch since apple has discontinued it and i want to continue watching videos on a separate device with a headphone jack, this device seems to be decent just that instead of using youtube I will be downloading videos instead, which is also not a problem since the storage can be expanded.

I use an iphone 7 which can't make or receive phone calls as an ipod device. I've used one of the older Xperia Compact device in the past which had a busted camera. These devices can be picked up cheaply as they are technically broken and will out perform devices such as these. I think that's the biggest barrier such a cheap, dedicated android mp3 player will have. On saying that this does look reasonable, but not for me.

Yes. I just bought samsung galaxy note4 . 128GB card and extra battery. Total cost 60 British pounds. I can change battery in a minute, big screen, 24 bit 48 Khz, and audio jack.
