Disappointing to see Berg take a step back. I thought Deepwater Horizon was a really effective disaster flick. The build up to the explosion, and the explosion sequence itself, was very intense and so well-done technically.

I don't remember being in the theater when a baby was crying, but I remember a couple of kids throwing tantrums and they parents had to drag them out to deal with them. I also still remember going to the believe it was South Park movie and seeing a mother leave her daughter in the theater and she was barely ten.

I have seen babies and young children at R rated movies. However when there was a crying baby, I found that the moms were attentive, alert and exited the theater immediately. However, maybe I am avoid problems as I usually sit in one of the top 2 or 3 rows. I find that most parents, when accompanied by children, do not want to hike up and down those stairs repeatedly.

Fuck yes Alonso. I go to so many late night movies on week nights because I'm a night owl and my wife isn't. Therefore she hits Netflix or sleeps at home WITH OUR 2 CHILDREN UNDER 10 who are also asleep because its nighttime(!) while i'm at movies she isn't interested in anyway. And when there's a movie we both want to see we get a sitter! I saw small children in Geostorm at 10:00pm, small children in Den of Thieves around 10:00pm start time (I watched a lot of meh Gerard Butler movies on MoviePass) it is flat out ridiculous. Theater watching isn't some inherent right. If you can't find a place to stash your kids during a late night or R rated movie then too damn bad, wait for it to hit Redbox. And I have a friend who is a doctor of Audiology and while she's very mild mannered, I do believe she would like to punch parents of infants who bring them to movie theaters. Guess what, your hearing only ever declines across your life and it's at its best when you're born.

This movie looks like it has the kind of story and maybe somewhat better production values you'd get from an NBC action/spy drama like *The Blacklist* or *Blindspot* without the cheese ball fun and not half as good acting.

Who cares if you miss read a film. If Lone Survivor is meant to be the opposite of what you felt it is, who cares. The film means only what it means to you. If Harmony Korine came out and said Spring Breakers was meant to be a comedy, I'd be like "cool" and continue to love it and think its a masterpiece for the reasons I currently do. I think Mother! is a profound film about the necessity of religion (or some sort of higher calling). Aronofsky meant it to be a call to action to save the planet. I don't care. He's wrong, and I'm right, and I'll continue to LOVE Mother! because of MY read on that film.
