Review: Modenas Dominar 400 UG - The Wait Is Over And It Was All Worth It!

Malaysians had to wait about a year and a half for the Modenas Dominar 400 UG to arrive, but it has been worth it.
We rode the new Dominar, and the uprated power figures, DOHC, and other improvements are almost immediately felt. In fact, the new Dominar even sounds a lot better during idle and with a splurt of the throttle.
The Dominar has matured and is now a proper Sport Touring machine.

Do not mess with this bike, it's actually a really, really high performance motorcycle, the old version went from India - Bhutan - Myanmar - Laos - Cambodia - Vietnam - Thailand - Malaysia - Singapore - boat - Sri Lanka, the UG completed the Trans Siberian albeit all of the bikes were seriously pimped up for the journey and ridden by some of India's best touring specialists so the bike has the performance to take the beating, carry on and ask for more. But I just don't like the way it looks 😂. Also Bajaj already has released the UG2 which essentially a touring ready version with a bash plate, side panniers and top racks pre installed so look at Modenas releasing that maybe later this year. In short it's a great motorcycle, looks well, that's a subjective thing. I'm also your height so no, I'm probably not going to add it but at that price, it's a steal.

the signal light indicator on the hud, the left and right arrow blinks at the same time whenever you use it... it looks weird but its not a deal breaker

Seriously worth the price if based on specs. Abs , USD fork , slipper clutch , 150kmh GPS easily . ( Potential 160-163kmh GPS top ) Only for Around RM 15K otr .

At higher rpm’s.. u dont feel it in town or at highway speed… but any faster and your hands will tingle for a while after you have parked the bike.
