Oh ya - that game is way more to my liking. In fact, I liked it so much I bought Dark Sands, and am looking forward to the Normandy one, whatever they are calling it.

sharvinable yes, actually! it was the fridge and it as so annoying that I'm moving! (actually for work) there might be a delay in new videos whilst I move, but in theory, no more annoying humm!

Did you play it or see it being played? a counter is a whole soviet army... Also on the turn track and in cardplay many historical things wil appear (some on time others might differ in time due to cards).

You're saying that the map you show represents the situation in what, Jan 43? With a total of 1 Russian army between Tula and Stalingrad? And no German units between the Valdai and the gulf of Finland? Yet you describe it as realistic? Are you sure you weren't playing monopoly?

The game abstracts the front to have the onboard units only represent the active areas. So for example in 1942, you'd just see German units near Stalingrad, the Caucasus and at Rzhev.
