nice review! agree on the "one step forward, two steps back" sentiment regarding KaiOS 3 app support situation lol 😅kinda sad since the phone's design and hardware looks decent (nicer than the Alcatel Go Flip in my opinion)...I think some of HMD's other feature phones like the Nokia 3310, Nokia 5710 XpressAudio, Nokia 6310, Nokia 225 4G are using "Smart Feature OS" which is supposed to be similar to Symbian Series 20 or S30+ which might be faster than KaiOS (and more nostalgic), but probably has even fewer modern apps being supported these days...it's a compromised situation where you win some, lose some, I guess...

I just got this phone. Is the front display a bit darker and slightly blurry on your phone as well? The inside screen is much better. Want to make sure my outside screen isn't defective.

I still have all the old symbians, I agree, excellent of all time but windows mobile 2003 was around too st the time and most of all security on the symbian was low especially if wanna use today's web and not olskool WAP

@@DJLNR. I'd say S60V5 had slightly better security and the UI was soo so good and well polished. the Touch based Anna and Belle was also nice. Sad they didi'nt put enough efforts on making new devices with OS like that. Even the S40 versions were really good. Asha OS also. why the Devs cant port MeeGo and make a feature phone OS out of it.☹

I use a KaiOS 2.5 device, Whatsapp works but not perfectly, I can use maps, browsers and wtsp but isnt the best device for that
