"Diversity" isn't important to the average traveler. It just isn't.

Your idea of the average traveler likely is an outdated viewpoint not on census data or the diversity of the present demographic population. US has changed and will continue to change. As an actual traveler and someone that is continually asked about this related to areas I visit your viewpoint is invalid.
