The Manta Ray has a wider blade for more power and high angle paddling. The Sting Ray has a slender blade for less stressful, low angle paddling. Both come in 2 and 4 piece models.

It’s weird because to the naked eye you can’t tell the difference between the two.

@@skillsmydadtaughtme880 The Manta Ray blade is only 1" wider than the Sting Ray but it has 64 square centimeters more of surface area. The Manta Ray blade dimensions are: Blade Size: 7.5 x 18 in. (19 x 46 cm) Blade Surface Area: 102.5 sq. in. (661 sq. cm) The Sting Ray blade dimensions are: Blade Size: 6.5 x 18 in. (16.5 x 46 cm) Blade Surface Area: 92.5 sq. in. (597 sq. cm) I currently have a 2 piece Sting Ray but I plan to get a 2 piece Manta Ray.
