You'll have to try really hard not to touch or move the scale around if you want it to be precise.

Just replaced this pos with a Hornady scale that actually works reliably. I always use these with my beam scale for redundancy. This might work for some of you if you only keep it to powder charges alone.

I have like 4 reloading scales and this one is the most accurate for low weights. Yes even have a Redding gravity balance scale. This is accurate to .001gram Hornady, Dillon and other more expensive scales are only .01 gram accurate or 10x worse. For measuring low pistol powder loads like 6.0 gr this is just better. Why use a scale that goes to 1500gr for 5gr of powder? makes no sense at all. It goes to 308gr, enough for any powder load and better for lighter loads.

I'm not happy with mine used it for measuring gun powder the pan is so shallow it splashes out with a trickler up close.There is a small grove in the bottom of the pan that ball powder stays in giving you different measurement's each time. Has a tiny weighing surface so you can't change the pan if you wanted to...made about 100 rounds then it would not zero would go up and down 2-3 grains with no weight on it would not recommend for reloaders.. My opinion only .....

Can we use this for medicine tablets like .5mg or 1/4 tablet of 2mg tablet?

Yes, if your using it for Clonazepam or any other benzos, this will help you micro taper. ( or any other medication )

@@maplepro2006 ahhh really yes i will taper 1/4 tab or 0.5mg of 2 mg clonazepam we have no whole tablet of 0.5mg clonazepam here in our country so i need to cut or divide it by 4..so i need this weighing scale cause everytime i divide or cut the whole tablet.i cut it unevenly...i will start tapering at 1/4tab..praying that this could detect up to the tiny bits of pill.

I have a question I was hoping you or someone else could help me with! I still have one of my calibration weights, but appear to have lost the other. Is there any way I can substitute something for the 10g weight? If not, how difficult is it to obtain another one? Any feedback would be really appreciated!

The outside if the measuring area is the same size as a U.S. Dime. So you would need to find something slightly smaller than that to stack your cup on.

You can put the measuring tray on the little circular platform, then get a piece of paper and cut it down to about 4-inches by 4-inches, fold it in half, then unfold it and fold it in half again the other way and unfold that, (so your 4x4" paper has a '+' folded into it and it's kind of cup-shaped,) then place that paper on the measuring tray and zero the scale, then proceed to weigh your items on the paper. Did I explain that well enough? I can never tell if I'm making any sense lol.

@@cowboybabyyoda6725 25 milligrams should read .025 g. In grains, 25 milligrams will read as 385.809 gn. Note the 'gn' which stands for 'grains'. Use the mode button to cycle through different units (dwt, g, gn, oz, etc.)

WHY do they even call this a "Millimeter" scale when it does NOT read in millimeters? I bought this to make my own herbal capsules for Lyme Disease and now have to do math gymnastics to figure out how to safely formulate my own medicine. Sucks....

@@cowboybabyyoda6725 if 1g is equal to 1000mg, and the scale reads 1.000g, then you got 1,000mg. Making 0.25g actually 250mg and 0.025g 25mg :)

The GemPro 250 is a much better scale and I trust it down to ~8mg, but you could buy 7-10 Gemini 20's with how much you'll pay for the GemPro 250. The price of the GemPro 250 is worth it though because of its accuracy and reliability. No $20 scale should really be trusted with any mass under at least 30mg or so, and it shouldn't be considered accurate to the milligram, but if you don't need to weigh less than 30-40mg or if you only need an estimation of mass, then a $20 scale like this will suffice.
