I just bought one that's aluminum shafted. Didn't know carbon was available in these. Small town USA here where we still have homing pigeons to deliver messages. lol

Alot of the new stuff EGO comes out with is not available in stores, you have to check thier website.

I hated and returned it. So pleased with my new saw attachment after old from 2019 did not function. $119 on Amazon and the only difference I miss is the reach BUT the chain stays on..

I hated it and returned it perhaps defective but6 not only did chain loosen/come off too much but the tension adjust green knob sprang back to flat and it was so annoying.. Got a new saw extension and it is excellent and thinking of a second extension pole.

I dont believe it was considered a multi use product, I dont think they have one for this.

You'll have to buy their multi tool instead which does have to options of trimmer and pole saw among other things

I just used regular chainsaw bar oil.

None that I know of, it's strictly a polesaw.
