Thank you for the feedback. Is this instructional applicable for Gi game as well ?

It is! I think gordon's style passing is actually easier in the gi. It does not go over spider guard passes, etc..., but you can use the principles he presents to pass any iteration of guard.

@@efficiencyjiujitsu417bjj2 Thank you. Can we apply the instructional using a grappler dummy or we need absolutely a partner (due to covid situation)?
@efficiencyjiujitsu417bjj23 жыл бұрын
@@robixmor5857 you can absolutely train some of the guard passing body movements with a dummy, but you will need to eventually train with a human.

How did you study this stiff? All on one stretch or broken down into 1 video per day/week?
@efficiencyjiujitsu417bjj23 жыл бұрын
@@freman75 I did 15-20 minutes per day, which was as much information as I could digest. Then after I completed the entire series, I watched the series again while I worked out, which was 20-40 minutes per day.

What do you mean when you say over under pass is rudimentary? I’m under the impression that it’s a really good pass and was been used by Bernardo Faria for a long time and led him to success at elite level. However , im just a white belt so any info is appreciated. Anyhow I enjoy your reviews! This one and the back attack one by danaher. Any more coming up soon?

Thanks for the question! I should have made myself more clear. The over under pass is an awesome pass, and it works at the highest level. The SYSTEM that I had for my 4 main passes (over under, double under, knee slice, back step) was rudimentary. At the highest level, the best passers have strong systems to employ the passes (like Bernardo Faria with the over under pass). I will be doing many more reviews in the near future!
