Very nice looking, love the octagon barrel. Good job on sights, bevels, trigger, and grips. These are where someone starts first on customizing their gun. Glad to know that manufacturers still want to be innovative enough to improve on a great design.

Dovetailed sights. That's a deal clincher all in itself. Love the barrel, engraving, and all. Never seen it in anyone's catalog.

I got myself the Pietta Outlaw Legacy through Taylor's & Co. In the .357 with the 5 1/5 in barrel and it has not disappointed. I love the engraving on mine and seeing this one makes me want another one with unique engravings and I absolutely love the look of the octagon barrel.

The Outlaw Legacy is a very nice Single Action, I was actually there when that one was created as well. This new series will be offered as shown or in traditional blue/color case but it will still have all the same competition upgrades.

just make sure you tell pietta to put the sights dead on a lot of them shoot everywhere but center

Most Single Actions sights come sighted in for 25yds, we have made adjustments to the sights and will be a solid brass sight that is actually dovetailed. This way they can be tapped right & left for adjustments.

Im picking up tomorrow a Pietta 1873 "Gunfighter" nickle, white polymer grips, 4 and three quarter barrel. .45 Colt, of course. I'll let you know how it perfoms when I get it home. It has the long trigger stroke. I wish it was shorter. Closer to the rear of the trigger guard. But it's still very beautiful. Hope it's good "out of the box."

I just ordered that one, coming in on Friday. Any updates? I'm looking for a .45acp cylinder for it to make it compatible with more of my ammo supply but having trouble finding one in nickel plated.

@@jrm4408 I'm happy with mine. Im not very accurate with it yet. I definitely shoot my Glocks better. G19 and G21. But I bought it for my pleasure. I'm a huge Western movie guy. And these Pietta's are nearly an exact replication of a Colt SAA. The only difference is the longer cylinder pin and the floating hammer. I've only shot 30 rounds through it so far. Finding .45 Colt ammo is hard and pricey. I'm only finding 200 or 225 grain ammo. I want some 250 grain. Maybe one day I'll find some. I need a trigger job. It's at least 6 lbs. I would prefer a 3 lbs. Anyway, I hope you enjoy yours.

I have not cleaned the gun. No powder burn on cylinder or muzzle. “ maybe a light clean” but nonetheless I want one! Laser engraved? Or hand engraved?

That is the ugliest gun I have ever seen, and I love Pietta firearms.
