Hi for people moving back to India (more than 3 years prior to maturity of plan) will the maturity amount be taxable in India. If yes, is the entire amount taxable, Or only the capital gains? What tax rate? Also if converted to policy in India will the return continue at only 4 to 5% CAGR in Rupees?

Product is not taxable in India as per LIC international claims . When it is transferred to India it gets converted to Indian rupees. I had taken 2 educational policies for my two sons in the year 2004.i paid twenty four installment. Then due to recession in dubai I lost my job as company close due to which return back to India from Dubai.when i went in 2018 to claim my amount the agent tried for me but in vain.till now I am contacting them but no response.pls can u help in this matter.
