That slide in the center console is perfect to put my gun! What a great truck I’m still driving my 2001 sequoia..so I will not be getting a new one anytime soon..because a Sequoia never dies..

I have 2021 platinum white color sequoia. Its huge, comfort and safe. Suspension is awesome. As you said yeah, thats where my gun stays..☺

When you factor inflation the Sequoia is much cheaper in 2021 than it was for me in 2010 when I bought this exact SUV. Sticker was around $60,000 for us and we paid $54,000 out the door. Back then they were giving them away because of the gas crunch under Obama. Now, they're exorbantly priced due to demand for the outgoing V8 and the reliability nobody really knew about yet in 2010. We have 177,000'ish miles on our now and I cannot recommend one of these more to a future buyer. If you have a big family get one. MPG is 14 city 18 highway usually and everyone we know that own Expeditions and Yukon XL's get the exact same mileage, but spend a lot more in maintenance than we do.

My 2008 Toyota Sequoia Limited is tow rated at 9100 lbs and I am able to tow my 2013 33ft RV Travel Trailer that weights at least 9000 lbs. I do use a weight distribution hitch but I have towed the RV a few times without that hitch just was sitting pretty low though. 😅

They will FOR SURE do more than they are rated for, but its always best to stick to the ratings for safety

Yes, this one reviewed had the SAND BEIGE LEATHER, the other options in the Platinum are... RED ROCK AND BLACK LEATHER and GRAPHITE LEATHER.

Yes depending on fuel costs its not for everyone. If you want longevity and quality there is a trade off though. We will see when the new generation comes out next year on what will change.

Do you mean the second row? The only trims of the Sequoia that have a bench seat in the second row is the SR5 Trim and the Limited Trim. Both the Platinum like the one in this video and the TRD Pro TRD Sport) in my other videos have captains seats in the second row.

Great video but for the money you’d have to be out of your mind not to buy a Land Cruiser. A Land Cruiser before the pandemic and the announcement of the cancellation was 78 grand. Now they’re 100 but again this is a great truck but it’s not a Land Cruiser

Thanks Eric. That’s true. To get into a Sequoia I would suggest the TRD Pro model as you get the most bang for the buck and it holds value the best. At that price point it’s a much better buy over the Land cruiser and it’s larger so you have more space. In the platinum configuration it’s just not for most people.

Hey there and thanks for watching? Are you talking about the drink cooler like it has in the Land Cruiser? If so no it doesn't have that option from the factory, but I have found a few that plug into the outlet that may fit. It is a very large center console.

Land cruisers are great. I would love to have one. Usually the sequoias will cost you less, are much the same and you get more current tech usually with the sequoia. They are always slightly larger than the land cruiser with slightly better Fuel economy in real world applications.

It’s been updated and has entune 3.0. It’s larger than it ever has been and sounds great. It will get a full refresh for the upcoming generation

These are soon to get a full redesign. I personally really like these trucks. I like the retro look and the ride is so good.
