Thanks again Fredric - it’s so helpful to have someone with your professional, positive and pleasant approach relaying your beginner to advance experience in video form for us 🙏😎. I refer to many of your You Tube videos often to help me figure things out and STAY POSITIVE. Currently I own a 6M Fone CWC wing and awaiting delivery of the Starboard Container with my board enclosed. Many of the locals ( St Petersburg’/Sarasota, Florida areas ) use Fone and Slingshot and only a few have purchased Ensis but it seems to be a great option. I will certainly have more questions in the next few months. Thanks for everything.

Hi Vincent! Thank you for the kind words! I aim to help anyone to get going in this fantastic sport. It’s not only fun. It’s a great challenge and the feeling flying on the foil is second to non. I have seen a lot of F One wings out in the water this year. Here in Mallorca Duotone is also popular. Hope to be doing an review of those wings next year. Stay safe and exiting to heat that you will get your new Starboard soon. 💪💪💪

Fredric, great review, just a couple of concerns, folding the windows, from windsurfing days and now looking at the new Reedin Super wing, there is a special technique for folding. Would like to see how it is going to fair, as normally they get creased and end up splitting. Second point is there any harness line loops? Nice looking wing though I must say.

Hey Dan, I can say after a few months of using the wing. I pack it the same way as I do with my ENSIS without windows. No problem at all with the wings, none! Harness line hoops does not exist. I haven’t ridden with a harness on a ENSIS wing yet. I’d say you attach the line at the middle of the handle. As you mainly hold the forward part of the handle, that would work. I do use the middle and rear half of the back handle when I want more power in light winds. I’ll have to give the harness a try one day. 🧐

@@wingfoil_mallorca Thats great news for packing then, because that wing looks very, very nice as well. 🤩

Would you have started with the 6M wing knowing what you know today ? Factoring in a 2400 wing, 130 l board and weighting 75KG ?
@wingfoil_mallorca3 жыл бұрын
Hi Vincent, great question! Yes, I would. To have extra power when starting out is an advantage. In the beginning you don’t know how to pump the wing to fly. By having more material in the wind you get more help getting the speed up and you get up on foil easier. I’d say it’s only when you have some experience that you can go down in size and still ride the same conditions.
