Right before this was announced, I paid just under half for a LNIB ti/cf s90v military ($215)... I'm more upset about Spyderco rehashing mediocre designs instead of releasing new models than I am about the price though. The Millie comment was just an example of how much more can be bought for so much less Edit: but the price is ridiculous. There's a whole heap of reasons why a knife that struggled to sell for $200 10 years ago just objectively isn't worth $450 now.

Yep, you have a great point! I would love to see some real innovation, or at least fresh designs. Unfortunately we’re just seeing price hikes.. it’s a real bummer.

Spyderco has been around since the '80s, they're prolly running out of ideas for affordable knife designs.

Agree that the price to high for this knife. But for me i wasn't into knives of this range at the time this was released and when i finally got to that point they were ridiculous on the secondary. And now i buy knives past what the bowie went for so i was happy that knife joy did the run because i never would of bought one otherwise. Although i did modify it to my liking by increasing the detent hole in the blade for snappier detent feel, cut the lockbar back a bit for more access to reverse flick, and stripped the blue ano then stone washed the scales. I enjoy messing with my knives to make them how i want them but for those that dont i can see why this knife doesn't hit all the marks like a more modern design.

@@The_commonman yeah I feel like I should hold on to mine but then again I'm not really in love with it and there's other options I want to try for the price range.
