The best KZ so far. Ive had this pair for quite some time now after jumping from zsn pro X. The improvement is just...wow!

Nice detailed review. Love the look at your face when your dog was going berserk spinning around. Haha. Love how you tear down how the ZAX is tuned. When listening to music I never listened with a flat profile and love fiddling around EQing my headphones, so the recessed mid tones you mentioned could be EQ'd back in? Also, how does this compare to the KZ ZSX I love the ZSX, but not the fit and considering upgrading to the ZAX.
@Audio-In-Reviews4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! My dogs a mess but he's my bud. These do respond pretty well to eq so yes you definitely eq those back in. Unfortunately, I haven't heard the ZSX

Question Please. If you EQ to compensate for the V, do those lower mids become muddy? Or can you get a satisfactory warmth and clarity if you bring those up? I have been using the ZS-10 Pro IEM's for since they came out and I like them alot, however, while I find the Bass to be acceptable, I want more of it without losing the clarity across the entire spectrum. Is this a worthwhile upgrade to the ZS-10 Pro? Thank you for the review and I look forward to your reply.

Love the looks of this one, their latest 10BA ASX also look very good. This one right here has a bit hot treble, while the latest ASX has elevated bass. Personally prefer the ASX sound!!

Thanks for the detailed review! I finally understood what V-shared actually means and what is lost because of the same. What would you recommend as an alternate when the singer's vocal range is off the charts and the only other instruments playing are not that busy? This is what happens in the Quawalli genre especially with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.
@etxeberre12 жыл бұрын
Moondrop Starfield, they have a very controlled mid and highs. The bass in here is just 5 dB's extra so no distortions whatsoever. Overall they have awesome sound for the price.
@adrnik193 жыл бұрын
Are they semi-open? Or that's just part of the design?
@Audio-In-Reviews3 жыл бұрын
I am pretty sure that's just part of the design. There's not enough noise bleed through to indicate any kind of opening

These vs the c12 and c10 what you recommend for gaming
@Audio-In-Reviews3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to watch. Either one would probably work okay. The C10 pro is a little cheaper and may offer better isolation. The C10 pro has a brighter tuning and could become fatiguing depending on your listening volume. It was fine for me though.

@@Audio-In-Reviews best for immersion new to iems trying to figure out my first pair
@Audio-In-Reviews3 жыл бұрын
@@digitaldemonace2450 I don't game regularly so I don't typically test that aspect of most iems. They both have their strengths and weaknesses. The KZ ZAX has slightly better imaging and soundstage capabilities than C10 Pro (which means you might be able to more precisely pinpoint where sounds are coming from within your game environment. Again only slight improvement) however the C10 Pro will offer better isolation (block outside noise) and still has good imaging and soundstage. And again, the C10 Pro is cheaper. So it really depends on your personal preference and whether you want to spend the extra money for minimal improvement. Personally, I think you'd be fine with the C10 Pro

@@Audio-In-Reviews most comfortable tho in your opinion
@Audio-In-Reviews3 жыл бұрын
@@digitaldemonace2450 The only discomfort I experienced was with the cables, at the bend at the two-pin connectors on both the ZAX and C10 Pro. I had no issues with the iems themselves. I had to frequently adjust the iems by twisting them forward so the cable wouldn't put pressure at the top-front of my ear. So comfort was the same for me on both.

How's the bass on these? , are these good for Bass players?
@Audio-In-Reviews4 жыл бұрын
Not sure, but i used them on drums and they were fine. Also our lead guitarist borrowed them and he said he had a decent mix. I know he usually has me (drums) and the bass player cranked up pretty good and he said it didn't seem like the iems were overwhelmed at all. If you have a decent iem system and mix everything right they should work fine.
