Hello, thank you for the tip about the needles. I want to buy new ones because I'm not happy with mine. They were also cheap needles. That reminds me of what my grandma said: "We can't afford to buy cheap." There's something to that, quality pays off. Your dogs are cuddly dogs and Benny is so gentle. Beautiful. We have a white cat and a Samoyed (Samoyeds are always white). When the two are lying together you can't tell which is a cat and which is a dog. It's just a big white ball.

@@silke3719 I'm curious if you ever considered making yarn from your dog's fur? I'm working on that with my son's husky, blending her fur with wool. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out!

@@VirginiaLLewisAuthor Oh yes, we have sweaters, gloves and scarves made from the wool. Samoyeds lose a lot of fur. You can only wear the clothes when it is extremely cold because they keep you very warm. We had a woman who spun the wool for us and I knitted it with a very thin yarn. Now her fur is not so nice anymore, she is very old. And I don't have anyone to spin the wool for me anymore.

Hallo Virginia, schöne Nadeln ! Es gibt noch eine Möglichkeit, beim flat Strichen, kann man eine kleinere und eine größere Nadel benützen, bei bedarf. Vielleicht kennst du das. Wenn die Rückrereihe zu locker ist beim linke Maschen stricken ,dann ist eine kleinere Nadel hilfreich. LG Kathrin
