Thank you! I wondered how these would be. When I first started using glitter vinyl from Cricut I had an awful time even using the strong grip transfer. I searched and found where someone suggested the heavy duty shipping tape and that’s what I have the best luck with. On a larger product it takes several pieces but it’s always done the best for me.

I probably will not be doing videos comparing them because unless I don’t like the vinyl product it’s a product I would recommend meaning it’s just as good as the other brands I use. I would highly recommend the make market vinyl

Thank you. Great demonstration & appreciate your opinion. Very side question: I noticed on your machine on the metal roller closest to the loading area, on the right of the rubber that you have something on the metal but not on the left. Did it come with that? Is it a Maker or Maker 3? I’m asking because my Maker’s rubber moved over (right one) & got slightly damaged enough to start “shaving”. It’s over of warranty course.

I think what you are seeing is the white star wheels. All machines have them. I moved them a while ago to do some foam cutting and engraving and never bothered to move them back. I have three of the wheels pushed right and one wheel is pushed left

I didn’t notice one but possibly! If they do I’ll maybe try it but I love my medium tack so much it works with everything except evil textured glitter

They held up great to hand washing. I did drop the cup and break it after I washed it like 10 times but honestly I think they would last extremely long

I have medium tack transfer tape and I hateeeeee this vinyl It does not stick no matter how well I go in on it with my squeegee ☹️

No. Permanent vinyl is not for shirts. You need to use HTV

when I used the red glitter vinyl once I put epoxy over it the colour ran/transferred a bit. Anyone else?

Very common with the glitter vinyl that is textured like this. If you want to epoxy over it it’s better to use a glitter vinyl like styletech because it’s actually protected from the outside elements

Hi Corinne, have you tried the matte vinyl on canvas? Mine keeps lifting then falls off. Any tips?

I wouldn’t use adhesive vinyl on canvas. Canvas is a fabric so you are better to use HTV

Does the color run when the glitter one gets wet? I that happen on some glitter vinyl?

I didn’t see any color running when I washed the cups but maybe over time it might.

I always burnish the back of glitter vinyl. Works better

I did. It didn’t really help. The glitter is very textured and the transfer tape is not strong enough for the texture
