Nomos is the best. I purchased a Club Campus for my girlfriend and accidentally bent the bar on the clasp when I was adjusting the bracelet for her. We called Nomos customer service to buy another clasp and they shipped us an entire new bracelet and a bunch of goodies for free. Excellent customer service!

Thanks for the review Tony. As far as I can remember, all of my dad's old hand wound watches (blue collar working man watches - timex, seiko etc) required the 9-12 moving to set the date. So that's no big deal in my opinion...what is a big deal is that no other freaking youtuber has mentioned that... And, I agree with you, one reason that I like your channel is that you really own your watches, so we get real first hand experience - that's wicked cool!!

The orange strap/orange dial combo is awesome!! I agree with the commenter on the Bauhaus styling, and I think that's why I like these limited editions as well as the Club Campus.

I had a Seiko Automatic that I bought new in 1975 (yes that was 49 years ago) that used the date function the same way. It is not a new system and it worked perfectly. I wouldn't worry about it at all Tony.

I view this watch as a category of watches. It looks semi vintage. It has the Bauhaus styling. It is hand wind. It is below 40 mm wide. I like this watch. The only thing I don't like about it is the date feature. On a watch of this type you don't need a date. It clutters the dial and it doesn't even have a quick set. You probably wont be wearing this watch every day. You wear it for a day and then change it up. You don't want to be fiddling with the date every time you want to put it on. Other than that it is perfect. Its kind of like a fashion watch. Except that it is a real watch.

Is the strap 19mm ? I looked it up and lug width is 19mm so is that strap size? I rewatched vid and now know brand you purchased. The fabric band is too big for me and I don't want to add a hole and ruin the oem band.

I'm going to be really honest with my feelings Tony. Love you love them, but they just seem like very expensive Swatches or Studio Underdog's to me. The whole sapphire/non sapphire, limited edition, and non quickset date things are all red flags to me. They seem like the Artem strap of watches to me. I believe you love them, but they are an influencers watch IMO. I prefer the orange date not being very visible. Dates should only be seen when you need to see it (if at all) IMO. Did you get them from same place as the Daytona? Am I being unreasonable to feel its oiling wheels if you did (I would do similar though so not flaming you)? $16 strap on a $2k watch is kind of odd to me. I have put a £600 strap/clasp on a £600 watch, and a £300 strap/clasp on a sub £100 watch though, so shoot me too haha. Enjoy them Buddy ✊

I have purchased many straps from various suppliers from outside of the US. Pricing is all over that place and price does not correlate with quality in the many samples that I received. The quality from Vietnam and other parts of Asia is very surprising compared to pricing. Rubber B in terms of rubber straps are very overpriced for what they are and there are many option in fkm rubber that are almost indistinguishable in terms of fit and finish. It’s great that we have options for non OEM straps that are excellent without dropping hundreds.
