UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust kzbin.infoUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.

Very good review! Great tip on the hot engine vs cold water..I have been looking at these every visit to Costco and they are usually out of stock..so I just about bought another brand the other day when I happened upon this used one in the neighborhood that the homeowners said had a small fuel leak from the air cleaner area..so I picked it up for $100 and it’s only 8 months old..fingers crossed I can sort out the fuel leak and I will be laffin!!

In retrospect, I believe that I didn't get the gas cap back on all the way down. Because I immediately tipped the power washer and transported it to the areas to be cleaned, the gas may have spilled out and dripped down the plastic cover. I have since used the power washer, and it works fine.

I switched the hose and gun from my old Honda washer cos it was a little bigger diameter hose and better looking gun, andwow it made an incredible difference in the power, much more power, try it if you have an extra hose and gun around. Minehas worked flawless for 3 years now..electric start is the way to go...tired of pulling on ropes..
@howtoforyou93806 жыл бұрын
Nice! I've been wanting to try a larger hose on it. I hadn't really considered a larger gun but it makes sense that a larger one would deliver more volume.

I have one of these units...purchased because of the electric start...now, I'm not able to locate the charging cable. Too many people using my cool unit. I'm not able to find an original cable. Any idea where I might be able to find a replacement? I looked on Amazon..nada...I don't trust eBay for these type of items. Thanks for your help.

is there a way (a valve) to stop the soap from streaming down the hose, say if i would like to use a different tip than the one for soap? otherwise i was thinking about adding a "fuel-valve" & a small hose for that purpose. thoughts?
@howtoforyou93806 жыл бұрын
I agree with adding a valve. It would make switching back and forth from soap pretty simple.

Thanks very much. Very good review, far better information than most other reviews. I'm just wondering about the hose. You didn't mention if it tends to kink or tangle but in the one picture there it looks like it wants stay coiled. In my experience hoses like that can be a pain to work with because the coils want to catch on things. Do you find that's the case?
@howtoforyou93807 жыл бұрын
I haven't really noticed a problem. It does want to stay coiled but it's a lot better than a standard garden hose. If you stored it with the hose straight instead of coiled up, I'm sure that it would tend to stay straight after a while. I have noticed fraying on the woven guard that's around the hose from dragging it on the asphalt but the actual hose seems to be holding up well.

Thanks very much for quick reply. I just noticed these units yesterday at Costco at picked one up. Your review and a couple of others made more confident about the purchase. That hose question was about my only hesitation. Think it's time to open the box and get washin'

I put my Subaru power washer together just as it indicated in the manual. I pulled out the gas filter to put gas into the tank with a overflow controlled gas can. When I turned the gas line on, I got a dripping of gas coming from under the blue plastic cover. I couldn't get the cover off to see if there was an loose lines or cracks. What did I do wrong?
@howtoforyou93807 жыл бұрын
Without being able to inspect it there's no way for me to be sure but it sounds like the cap is either on incorrectly or the fuel tank or cap has something wrong with it. Did the fuel screen get installed correctly before placing the cap back on?

Is there an on/off switch to dispense the soap from the soap tank? Or is it always in "ON" position?
@howtoforyou93807 жыл бұрын
It's always on but the line is exposed so it would be fairly easy to install a valve inline.

I bought it 3 years ago at Costco, it worked find from the beginning. Today I bring it out to clean the cement patio. I have recharged the battery, I start the electric button, some sound from the starter but the pump won't run. Finally, I have to pulled the cord. It's run. Thanks GOD. Any idea of the electric stater ?

Might just be a weak battery. It's hard to say without being able to look at it.

great review! so what is the difference in using the battery in the front compared to the battery on the side ?
@howtoforyou93807 жыл бұрын
There's just one battery. The charge port for it is on the side and the plug you have to connect before using it is under the front. Hope that helps.

I bought mine from DirectTools (reconditioned) and do not have the manual. Does this take gas mixture (2%) or straight gas? (basically, 2 stroke or 4 stroke engine?)
@howtoforyou93806 жыл бұрын
It's a 4 stroke.

My choke mechanism seems to be broken. The 3 settings for stop, choke, and run don't actually operate the choke as there's something broken in there. There is a brass piece that connects to the actual switch then there is another brass piece that connects to the choke. The two brass pieces aren't connected for me and I suspect they broke. Is it possible for you to take a picture and send it to me? I can't find anywhere to order a new choke/switch mechanism anywhere on the internet. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello, How To For You I would like to ask you some question about this great Gas Pressure Washer, Does this pressure washer consume a lot of gasoline?, the noise of the engine is very loud? How many volts is the battery? Thanks.
@howtoforyou93807 жыл бұрын
1: Fuel consumption seems to be about the same as a lawnmower with a similarly sized engine. The pressure washer has a small fuel tank so it needs to be filled more often than something with a larger tank. 2: It is fairly loud but no worse than a lawnmower or other piece of power equipment. 3: The battery is 12 volts.

Can you adjust the pressure?
@howtoforyou93807 жыл бұрын
The tip size adjusts the pressure. The smaller the orifice of the tip the higher the pressure.

At 3100 PSI and 2.4 GPM... even with the light nozzle... shouldn't that thing be doing more than just _"taking off some of the LOOSE paint"_ ??

Yes it needs gas. The battery is just to power the starter motor.

You said you keep the trigger pulled in the whole time it runs, so if you would set the wand down to do something for 2 mins or so, you would shut the engine off every time? Great video by the way!
@howtoforyou93806 жыл бұрын
Yeah I shut off the engine every time. With the electric start it's pretty easy to fire it back up.
