Great video! Do you think it will cope with a 1-step shine enhancing polish if done not for a customer but for myself? Not cutting - just bringing back the gloss a bit. It is a great tool for waxing which is why I want it. If it will handle a basic polish that would be a massive bonus. Thank you!
@StreetersGarage Жыл бұрын
As long as the paint isn’t too oxidized it should have no problem. Just make sure you have a couple of batteries. 😀
@Shadowman...5 ай бұрын
Whats nice about these polishers is that there nice and smooth and quiet. Most battery DAs and Brushed motor plug ins will make you deaf. And if you got the patience ( and a boat load of batteries ) you could do slight paint correction.

the velcro doesnt burn through the micofiber bonnet? Or do you put another pad on before the bonnets?
@StreetersGarage Жыл бұрын
For the polishing / backer pad. There’s about 3/4” of foam material that the bonnet will sit over.

@@StreetersGarage I think he was joking. The default attached black pad? He polished his truck with the velcro.

Nifty little buffer Tom. Looks like it would be great for just a wax job. To get into serious detailing, like different compounds to remove scratches and severe oxidation, I think something a bit more powerful would be better for the job. But a handy tool for a touch-up wax job.
@StreetersGarage Жыл бұрын
Completely agree. It’s a great option for quick cleanup work. For full paint correction, I’d stick with my regular DA Machine.

Milwaukee is a pro level machine this isn’t!!! The Milwaukee is a fluke in that they don’t really specialize in making detailing machines but they did a damn good job with their m18 polisher. You have to be careful as there are several different models of the Milwaukee machines, the one you want is the forced rotation Milwaukee
