REVIEW: Peak Refuel Butternut Dal Bhat. Contains Red Lentils, Chickpeas, Rice, and Butternut Squash!

We tried this item for the first time camping last week and did a review!
It's a new freeze dried meal we offer from Peak Refuel. It's called Butternut Dal Bhat. It contains Red Lentils, Chickpeas, Rice, and Butternut Squash!
Although it's good on it's own, we added some salt and curry powder. The additions took the dish to a sold 4 out of 5! Check it out.

*WE MISS THE CREW* and the reviews of MRE's ! Just a suggestion.... It would be nice to have the original crew back doing reviews regularly like once a month. @@EpicenterBryan Oh yes indeed Brian. Been around since the beginning. Still have every tray pack I bought from you. Such as Beef Roasted in Gravy, Pork Sausage Links, Cheesy Potatoes with Ham, Corned Beef Hash, just to name a few. I even have a few you never had for some reason like Pork Ribs in BBQ Sauce, just like McRib patties. Yep saving them for an "emergency". They are all stored in a dry climate controlled area with temperatures that never exceed 68 degrees. Just like canned foods that last decades and proven so by the U.S. military and canned foods institute. Have canned goods from 1999 as well. So far I never had to use any thank God. Even have a few tray packs in the metal tins from 1995 and the brown bag MRE's from 1988. All still safe as well. We love you guys ! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to Janet, Jessica and everyone we miss so much !

I tried the "Peak Refuel Biscuits and Gravy" Followed the instructions to the letter. It's best to wait 15 minutes and use an extra 1/4 of water. Taste was flat and the bite size biscuits were crunchy as hardtack even after 15 minutes of rehydration. Just did not care for it.

We are dealers for both Mountain House and Peak Refuel. But we also freeze dry food for ourselves. We have lots of our own in the camper too!

Curry powder should not be added to already cooked food, it is added during the cooking process. I feel like that food didn't taste good. 🤔😁 Y'all being too nice 💕
