I agree with mostly everything you said. I went for my 30th birthday back in October 2021 they didn’t have the elite club back then tho but yes the food wasn’t hitting. I ate only the donuts for breakfast lol and Pepe’s tacos that was really it. The food was trash, room service food trash so yeah but constant. But I love the chillness of the resort granted I went when it was still high-ish Covid time so it wasn’t as nearly as many of people like in your video at all. The resort so beautiful omg and yes beach hurt my feet trying to take some pics by the ocean. I enjoyed myself but the food wasn’t it. The weather even for the towards the end of October was amazing.

I will say for sure the food quality got better from 2023-2024! Noticeable. 2021 I think they basically just opened up, so I couldn’t totally see it being a massive problem 😂 Thank you for your comment! Yeah, the resort is chill yet party. Very unique!

@@gzamb1875 good point! With this resort, you do have access to Pacha, which is at the Riu Santa Fe. people in our group went & said it was fun but dirty as fk, and ended quickly. They also said they could’ve went without it, and the Riu parties are much much funnier then the Pacha club.

going for a bachelor party in August- few quick questions. were you able to book dinner reservations prior to getting there? did you visit any off-property bars/clubs? which ones? are the "shows" good? any youve seen/would reccomend? Thank you for an awesome video and recap! so helpful.

what’s up brother! yea so… reservations wise you could reserve a table if you get the premium rooms with the highest package. I don’t quite know if it’s possible to do so prior to arriving, but I doubt it. BUT it’s pretty much useless in my opinion regardless. They don’t track the reservations and you’re pretty much fine to get a table 90% of the time. If you’re a big group though I think it would be beneficial. When you arrival you get your room number and all that maybe talk to guest services about doing a preset for every night. I definitely saw that for bigger tables! I didn’t go off property, but their was a representative there that takes you and from the main most popular club (blanking on the name) but I heard it was VERY worth it from pretty much everyone we spoke to that went. I think it’s a cheap shuttle that goes back and forth. It’s only 5-10 minutes from the hotel So basically your safe being that close by in a worst case scenario. But the hotel does a great job at providing safe / easy transport. I’ll comment the name of the bar right after this I’ll ask my group. The shows aren’t bad for all inclusive. We just did karaoke the first time around, but during spring break season there was a lot of people pregaming at the bars, socializing. So you’re probably better off watching the show while talking at the bar! It’s a big area and fills up for sure for seating. one night on Saturday they have an after party for the show (pregame for the night party). Hope this helps!

if you take the tollway, MUCH quicker to/from airport. this resort is built on an old farm with chickens and thank god its gone. the palace next door where we also stayed and my daughter was married, the dammm roosters kept waking us! we have been to rius all over mexico, south america, costa rico and others, well over 400 times (feb 2025 next stay there) and we will get automatically up graded to the elite area ( i have pictures of this hotel being built.) we know almost all the people working at the other riu's so we do visit them. we usually are there for grand openings this one we couldn't because of c-19. keep cool. the riu's also own the empty lot next door.

@@Anthonym48 They had a ton of vendors next to the main stage! we almost did a boat to the main rock / small beach across the water for a really cheap price. Can’t go wrong with the vendors on the actual property. I know there’s whales you can see from the resort too which is pretty cool!

I just came back from Baja California and had a great time! I went for a little partying and a little relaxing and there's areas for all of that. But you'll definitely see some trashy people at times mostly at the parties lmao. The workers were mostly all happy though and I liked some of the cheesy shows they had at night.

I was there May of 2023 and we thought the food was great, going back this May. They had an Indian restaurant that was amazing... Maybe it's gone now, I don't remember a Mexican restaurant. The room was awesome and going next door for more entertainment was fun.. The bar at Riu Santa Fe is a good time to watch NBA games. We were always asking for good tequila (Cazadores Reposado) as well in the Margarita's.

Yes! They actually removed the Indian & replaced it with the elite club level restaurant. And they added a Mexican restaurant on the corner by that side of the resort. I’m glad to hear you had a good time! You’ll notice some differences for sure from the year prior…. For whatever reason the infinity pool feature wasn’t working and some other random small things changed Ethier way a good time!! Enjoy!

YES! 🙌 If you go for the top premium package everything is included. If you go for the normal package, 95% of things are included. The normal package has everything except premium liquors, a “premium” bar and a “premium” restaurant. You will be just fine without the premium extras 👍

@@Anthonym48 yesssirr of course 🔥 steak house is included. ribeye was my go to every night with lobster. Don’t be afraid to ask for multiple main courses. We would start with a double order or ribs and then finish up with the steak. I primarily ate meat the whole trip so I filled up lol. I tipped 5/10 per dinner/ breakfast/ lunch & 1-2 per drink. Usually if they come to me I’ll tip 2 if I go to them 1. If the service was good in your opinion a little extra goes a long way with these people

Hey! Thank you. I actually used “Cabo shuttle services”. It was four of us, and I can’t recall the price but it was definitely reasonable or I wouldn’t have done it 😂. They pick you up at a waiting area right in front of the exit of the airport. About an hour or so drive. Only downside is we waiting like 10-20 minutes for the car to arrive (our flight was delayed if that matters)

If you were to go for RIU & wanted party atmosphere, this is the best it will get. If you’re looking for classy, definitely don’t stay at a RIU 😅. Sorry about your experience!

Security confiscated a small float from an elderly couple but looked the other way when someone was full out doing it in plain view with their friends cheering them on. This resort was not billed as that. We didn’t choose to go here, we were meeting family who had already booked and we had not seen since before Covid. I wasn’t expecting excellent but I was expecting the mostly 40+ crowd that was there to act with SOME decorum. I wrote a review on TA and management got back to me with some silliness that this resort is near the marina so that’s why we experienced what we did…. What?

besides, Thailand has legalized weed, and i can have a condo for $500 a month and have a hooker included with the room. Being a member of the surf community, the recent killing of 3 surfers in Ensanada is kinda a turn off for Mexico.
