Right? I remember drawing the F1 driver's helmets as a kid. Couldn't be able to even do one now... They also change it up too much I think, the personal helmet design lost it's soul.

HSA Half Scale Accessories group on Facebook are the people to turn to. Mind you, they are incredibly busy and don't take specific request atm. But they might have all upgrade parts in stock, idk.

Hard to say. I prefer the 2019 version but the 2020 comes with these extra detailing parts.

Die website is niet helemaal te vertrouwen. De 1/2 helmen kan je beter kopen van een modelautowinkel of specialisten zoals Diecast Race Models, Frisian Modelcarshop of GPWorld. De full scale helmen zijn helemaal een lachertje. Het zijn vaak niet eens echte officiële replica's en de handtekeningen zijn ook niet altijd authentiek.

1:2 scale supposed to be the half size of the original! Isn’t it? The 1:2 looks much smaller than the half of the original.

If you scale down a big item, the difference in size is pretty big, yes, but that's how math goes. If you divide let's say 100 by 2, you get 50. If you then divide 50 by 2 again, you get 25. One has a difference of 50 and the other one a difference of 25. That's why the difference between the 1:1, 1:2 and 1:4 seems to be so off. I'm not too bothered if it actually turns out to be a scale 1:1,2345 instead of 1:2. They look good and don't take up as much space as a full scale!

I don't have any, so can't really tell from first hand experience. From watching the pictures I'd say they are even more detailed than the 1:2 as they don't need upgrades to look right.

@@ckhnet123 Check out the HSA Half Scale Accessoires page on Facebook. These wonderful people make all upgrade parts featured on this mini helmet. The Verstappen shop editions now also provide these parts as standard with their releases btw. Only the colored Hans rings and a few smaller stickers still need to be done applied to finish it off.

This particular one was bought on the official Verstappen webshop as it was only available there. You can buy recent mini helmets all over the internet. Some webshop I can recommend are DiecastRaceModels, CK-Modelcars, FrisianModelcarshop, Little Bolide, GP World and others.
