REVIEW : Shirogorov Model 95T Knife Clone

I don't know if you remember but a while back I recommended you this knife. It's honestly outstanding and to this day, after owning it for more than a year, it is still one of my favorite knives.

Joe, Shiro's are outrageously priced. I was looking at this clone recently. Very nice. You should do a Real Steel review. Maybe a Sea Eagle :-) Take care Joe.

Great review. I've had one of these for a while now; great knife. I bronze anodized mine and it looks really good. So light and carries easy. I agree about the hot spot on the clip. Before I anodized mine I smoothed off the end of the clip.

I have one I've been wanting to bronze anodize also. Except mine is the slightly higher end one with a few more details and M390 blade (or so it's stamped). I'm upgrading the ceramic bearings also. Incredible knife for the $200 I paid on Ebay. There's a genuine F95T on Ebay right now for $1300! Ridiculous. Who could even carry or use it without fear of losing a $1300 knife? Oh, there's also a custom division 95T in beautiful bronze on Ebay for $2400 I believe. WOW. I suppose the whole point would be to lock it away in the safe and hopefully make some profit in 5 or 10 years... So..... what process exactly did you get into in order to get that bad boy bronze anodized??? Did you do a cheap battery setup or get a $100 voltage regulator? What chemicals to etch and anodize? Please, I'd appreciate all the info you can share. There's not much info out there on the web to get a nice dark bronze/brown and what it really takes to achieve it. Thanks! Any photos of it ??? Great review Joe ! I've got mine also now. Very happy with the choice .It came very sharp , great flipping action and it falls from gravity without doing anything on it .

This knife is amazing. Ultra light milled out handles, get flipper, and great dentent with the ball in a great spot for one hand closing. Once I cleaned and oiled mine now the blade drops on gravity alone. I should have got the s35vn version

Nice review and knife Joe. I always liked the design of that blade. Had one ordered from DHGate this past summer. It never made it & DHGate immediately issued a refund after they checked it out to no avail. Never went after another one as some prices started to climb on them.

Outstanding value ! mine was razor sharp out of the box. One thing, the pivot screw has a tendancy to get loose, just degrease and apply blue loctite.

I got a clone with no labels I have to say this knife is one of the best copies I’ve ever handled I use it for personal use I would never resell it I don’t believe in the however it is excellent I paid $50 I also have the real knife and and if you didn’t know it was a copy you would never know all specs are the exact same the best thing is when I took it apart it’s on multi roll barring it is sooooo fucking smooth it drop shuts perfectly I don’t have to assist it to drop it is scary sharp the best thing is I didn’t get it from AliExpress it’s superb it geuatiens just like the true knife with out adjusting pivot it could be a one off but I love I use it for EDC purposes cuz I don’t want to use my $600 knife and fucking it up some how. Best believe I will get more. There is a new store that has everything even discontinued knives the great thing I’m ok with is they will not put another knife brand on the knife yea they copied the design but they at lease morally don’t try to pass off as the actual Shirogorov it’s just looks the fit and finish is awesome. Sorry I will not disclose where I got it from they have every knife you can think of for cheap and they really try to make it solid with out massive controversy my next is the hati. Neon hindered xm 24 3 to 3.5 I got a BM 940 for $35 bucks i bought all 3 styles carbon fiber is awesome. The most craziest thing is you order your knife and then they make it it’s not just sitting in a big box like DHgate or aliexpress the QC on these are amazing and if I am not happy I send it back for refund and the will reimburse my shipping the cris reeves are spot on you just have to know someone there the only oversees company that gets it right I found then when I took a trip to China and got to know the guys and girls making them they have all the machinery to make a perfect knife they have a few of there own as well this knife is amazing. Question? Is this still bad if they don’t try to pass off as the real thing? If so I don’t care I will not pay over 200 a knife ever again unless it’s just out of this world.

I just got an f3 shirogorov paid 15 bucks and the thing is light and solid however it is hit and miss I’ve gotten a knife that come to me just a hunk a shit but mostly there good I use as everyone does AliExpress and DHgate.com there basically same company download app and just start search going from seller to seller look for review look at pic the people put to make sure you don’t get logo goods completely against counterfits but if there just a knock off I think it’s ok cuz I cannot afford $1000 knife but I want to have some feeling of owning the real thing I bought 10 bm 940 lol... then finally ugh the real thing but you can find anything sometimes it can be tricky looking knives up just explore the site apps and always Wright to seller to send without logos I even ask not to even put blade steel cuz it’s not what it’s says just send a blank blade. Let me know if this is what you were wanting to know

Wavester64 i have no idé about The quality but its Only 30 dollars so its not That big loss if it sucks.. think it is 440C in The blade and G10 in The handle instead of s30v and carbon fibre

Knives in general are just priced at every increasing silly levels. I actually owned a genuine Shiro 95T and can tell you at $1000 it was a foolish purchase. A $50 clone was nearly identical. Spending more on a knife that cuts things than a firearm is just ignorant. I've sold off my collection and just retained a SnG and a Sebenza. Most of the market for these things consists of man-boys carrying trinkets in their pockets that will never be used.

If you respect the quality of design of a shiro why would you dis respect them by buying a fake. I don't get it. I own 4 real shiros and I would never buy a clone. There is a reason shirogorov are so in demand and if clones were remotely as good as the real thing Shirogorov would not be what they are today. If you can't afford a shiro why not go for a legitimate Chinese knife manufacturer that doesn't steal designs.
