You have to have the speed up to full for winding the bobbin quickly. I noticed you had the speed switch at slow.

I've heard there is porblems the needle hitting the bobbin case???

that happens if the bobbin case slips past the 'gate' or if the thread tension is off...it can be a headache, because you have unscrew the plate to reset the bobbin case...it happens, but not often enough to annoy me and I sew on it a lot!

This has happen to after using ABC and I think I need another one. I looked at it and see this yellow plastic that's damaged. I have my machine less than 3 months. I call Singer and hopefully they are sending out another bobbin case.

True. Ive seen lots of reports of this and another singer I have does the same thing. Its so dang frustrating.

Winding up the bobbin took you that long because the speed was on the lowest setting.
