Got my machine a while back but the problem I have is with the tension and decorative stitches. They look good in the back of the fabric but the front not so good.

I love your authentic review! I'm doing some research on this machine, and I found your video. What sort of cons have you found about this machine?

I haven't found any real cons on this machine. The bulk of my work involved multiple layers of canvas and other materials so I have moved to a tougher Brother Strong and Tough machine. The Singer Confidence has been sold off to someone else who is no doubt finding it a very nice machine.

thintz12 thank you for getting back to me. Yeah, multiple layers like that would need a work horse! I'm also looking at Janomes as well. I just do light weight sewing, and don't use too many thick fabrics.

I keep having the issue of my bobbin case jumping track and jamming under the needle.

Me too. Singer said it could be the tension but all I needed to do was file down the bumps on the bobbin case where the needle kept jabbing it and so far it's working.

Got these machine but Before actually using it my needle got stuck and broke and now i got new needles but it still doing the same thing,,,i have no idea why but I’m ready to throw it away,,,

I bought this machine without trying it out and really regret the purchase. I have had nothing but issues with it. It is nothing like my previous Singer. Going backwards well is nearly impossible. Now I'm having trouble with the bobbin thread bunching up, and the needle jiggling, not going forward, and then just stopping. I'm beyond frustrated and doubt when I replace this that I'll get a Singer. Nothing like they were 20-30 years ago.
