Can you purchase a Onroad top plate for that station?

Can you measure with calipers the inside width of the track on the toe plate (the shorter dimension, not the length). And the width of the piece that slides through the channel? I'm curious if it would be compatible with the Hudy 1/10 setup station.

A year later, do you still have the same opinion on this? Also because you ask for a suggestion... Thermal camera. I have been using one to watch motor temps, but think there is an advantage to be had with one. First I can see how poorly I glue tires. The hot spots are clear as day and you can touch them and feel where the glue has turned the foam to rock. But also differences in front to back tire temps, left right and even inside to outside on the tire. Now my setups garbage and my tires are far from optimal and I'm running in a parking lot at night. But in a controlled environment like a track I think you could really see how your tires are working and are your setup changes paying off. You could even try to go for asymmetrical setups. I have not tried but you may be able to see if there's any bind in your driveline or maybe suspension. I have a kind of cheap android phone with a thermal camera in it. It was less then $500 CAD and its not a bad phone, a doogee v20 pro. They have newer ones, I bought it on ali. It uses an infiray sensor with some infinitay app. The app is a little under baked and has not had an update from day one. There is also usb versions that plug into phones made by infiray and others. Cheaper, same sensor, app store apps. Some have a macro lens attachment for electrical work. I could see it being very useful for carpet touring car racing and maybe not as much for buggies because the tires are bigger, but with somebody that knows what they're doing I think there's time to be made with it, even if its just to confirm the changes made are working.

@@tomconnors8165 hi, thatnks for the question. I do use this setup station now and then when building a new car or checking if something became out of alignment. I use smaller camber guages for day to day checks. The thermal camera is an interesting idea. I have used a temp gun on my tires in carpet racing tolook for overheating. Ill see if i can find a thermal viewer to try.

Is there any reason this couldn't also be used for on road RC vehicles as well?

Perfect question. The reason it cant be used for onroad cars, such as a 1/10 touring car, is an onroad car has a 4mm axle as a standard and offroad cars use a standard 5mm axle. Maybe if there was a little sleeve to put on a road car axle to make it 5mm it would work.

Unfortunately it doesn't work for stadium truck dang it. It will do everything on a stadium truck other than toe adjustment. If you find a way to get it to work with a stadium truck please make a video 😂

I was able to test on my Stadium truck. What I did was use some spare wheel hexes as spacers when attaching the stands to the axles. What issue did you have for front toe?
