correct me if i’m wrong, but believe you’re supposed to put the peg holders through the middle of the pegs like in the picture on the website, still cool to see it works if done differently

You might be right, however my bash guard sits better this way. But it still works great. I use it quite a bit 👍

The hold downs are supposed to go through the pegs and hook over pointing out

I would have thought that as well. I tried it that way and it didn't sit right on the carrier. Maybe it is my aftermarket bash guard. However, the way I am doing it is totally solid and doesn't budge at all, so I am not too worried about it.

Totally agree, can be made for way cheaper. A) if you have a welder, B) if the cost for you time is still less than buying it. :) It is a great item for sure!

Ford maverick is the cheapest truck on the market rn. Starts at like 27k or something

Yeah, I have been looking lately at Tacoma's. I had one a while back and loved it. Hard for me to not get Toyota or Honda at this point. Reliability is unmatched.
