if you put a balloon over your mic it will cut all your wind noise I did it on mine it worked great and still hear good talking

Thanks for the tip. I will keep that in mind. Unfortunately, the mic is built into the face of the camera. However, I have been looking for a new camera with a separate, wireless mic so I can get better recordings from it.

I'm thinking hard on getting this system. I have a modular helmet but my wife have a full face helmet. I guess I would have to purchase the individual pack

Maybe, maybe not. At the time I bought these, the cost of individual units was not all that different than the 2 pack. So you could buy the individual units and come out only a little more cost wise. However, I upgraded my intercom setup to a Rugged Radio intercom and it only came with boom mics. We were still able to mount those in our helmets without interfering with the comfort or putting helmet on/off. I have an install video for the RR setup and we show how we mounted them if that is of interest.

@@daontetrotter1 Yes, but it is also a hard wired setup and significantly more expensive. The wireless headset was good, but did not have the same volume range. Sometimes you could not get the volume high enough to overcome the motor sitting right behind us when we were really screaming down the trail. The T com folks contacted me a few weeks ago asking if I wanted to check out their new design. I should be getting it shortly. If you are riding on separate bikes, the Rugged Radio setup will not work. If you are in the same car, it's a great option but as mentioned, quite a bit more expensive.

I'm not sure if you got new helmets yet. But the bell qualifier is pretty nice and pretty cheap as well and it has recesses for the speakers

Thanks for the comment. Yes, we bought new helmets earlier this year. My wife liked the Cycle Gear house brand (Built) as that felt the most comfortable for her and it had built in recesses as well as a drop down sun visor in addition to the face shield. I ended up going with a last years model Shoei. It's pretty comfortable but the cheek pads are a little tight. It too has speaker recesses. I've been toying with the idea of upgrading the intercom to a Rugged Radio setup now that I changed out the cage. But it is 1K for a good setup and that just seems crazy expensive.

Thanks for the comment. They do work pretty well for the price point. I will probably move up to a in car and car to car setup like a Rugged Radio at some point but those are expensive and I'm jut not ready to drop $1K on a radio yet.

Thanks for the comment. I didn't know anyone with a sena headset so not sure. However, I saw another review of the sena set and it did look like they could pair with other brands.

In the instruction it was written that when someone is calling is automatically answered after 15 seconds if you dont do anything about it. When you are already speaking to someone and someone else is calling you it ends the call with the person you were talking with and answers the other without a warning, you dont even understand when you switch talking to someone else, so the question is is there any way i could fix this, to stop happening

Sorry, I don't know the answer to that. I was using this solely as an intercom system for my wife and I while in our SxS. So, I didn't really try/test these for calls coming in, etc. As I no longer own the SxS, I haven't been using these at all.

Great question. I did not try that with this set. However, I have another, newer set. I will give it a try and let you know.

Hey. When they are connected for intercom use... Is it voice activated or is it on all the time? So for example, you have music playing and if you or the other person starts talking, the music pauses (or goes quiet) and then when the conversation is over, the music returns? I hope this makes sense...

Sorry, I never really tested that as we really didn't listen to music while we were riding. It was purely for person to person communication.

They have held up just fine. I just installed a new intercom system in my YXZ so I just gave them away in a channel drawing about 2 weeks ago so they have a new home with one of my subscribers.

Thanks for the comment. I believe you can pair up to 3 devices at 1 time but only it's only full duplex for 2 people at the same time.
