Jason, this is by far the best video review you have ever made. Extremely professional, you educated at the same time you shared your opinion and your set up. You should be very proud of this presentation. I will be buying this kit. thanks to you!

I think you should do a video in laydown transmission cars and contrast the differences in the b6, yz2, xb2, for conversion, etc. That would be extremely helpful since you have experience with all the buggies. Most reviews online are biased and this would be great. Really enjoy your videos and am always looking for updates. Keep it up

what an awesome review! Jason, I have to say the way you review your stuff is top knotch! after watching the review i went out and bought myself a b6 with the laydown and all the addon parts you have. Also like the way you are brutaly honest and tell the companys i will tell the people all the bad parts (if there was any with this buggy). Your tires are top knotch and all your parts for this car are amazingly designed and made. glad to see you driving at OCRC. Thnx for making this review. Keep it up!

I cant believe how much these have changed in just the last 14 years or so. Platforms haven't changed all that much but it's the electronics that have really changed a lot. Brushless motors, adjustable speed controls that can be done remotely, all the electronics are smaller and the cars cost way more now. Last cars I had were the B3 and the TC3, that would have been around 2002

I really enjoy your videos and reviews Jason; your technical insight and overall knowledge of hobby is probably the best on youtube. My only complaint is that I really wish you would include more footage or even images of the item you're reviewing, rather than watching you talk for 20 minutes. As a podcast it would work great, but the few and very brief snippets of the actual item make for a very dull watch.

Your review was a little inconclusive....couldn't tell if you like the B6 or not.....haha.....I agree It's a great car. I bought two as well. All the wheelbase and hub height adjustments got me a little psyched out. Seems like I could just a easily tune my self out of contention or accidentally screw up the pill spacing and have some crazy geometry. The build was excellent. It looks like the plastics have a slightly higher end feel as well. Have you tried the machined shock internals. Those make the AE shocks really really nice. Any plans to do a 22-4 2.0 review? I got one and they have now addressed all of the issues you discussed during your 1.0 review and then some. The gear diffs really bring that car to life.

@darionfarina20698 жыл бұрын
Jeff Bryner if you're not going to go all over the place racing or you're not racing on a super loose surface, a B5M probably performs relatively close to the B6, its really your own choice, should you spend the money and get the newest car, or save the money and get the old car, its really up to you and the research you've done, but I dont think either is a bad choice
@jeffbryner53558 жыл бұрын
Darion Farina thanks for the info. I found a b5m Lite for a hundred bucks cheaper then the B6 I think I will stick with that and spend the extra money in the electronics
@darionfarina20698 жыл бұрын
Jeff Bryner that's how they do it! new car comes out and then they lower the price on the old car, tower hobbies has several discount codes as well that you could use to make the car even cheaper than that, but just keep in mind the older the car the sooner its going to be discontinued

@isaiahfurrow74147 жыл бұрын
you mention a shorty servo, is this required or is a normal servo ok for this kit? I've watched this video, and your stock vs mod video, and I'm looking to get a buggy for my 10 year old son... he's doing well in Novice at our local track and will be moving up soon and running his truck in 2wd SC... I'd like to get him a 2wd buggy for a second class, so he can get more track time as we travel almost 2 hours to the track and can't go often for practice. ... AE has a new Club Racer kit with a 17.5 spec motor, but our track only has Mod/Open buggy.... trying to decide if it would be a good start, or if we should do the B6D kit with a 10.5 for a good bit more investment. The Club Racer esc could go to a 13.5 later as he progresses. ... any input would be most welcomed...
@jraces7 жыл бұрын
Shorty servo is not required, but helps a bit with wire management. Also, there is a HUGE leap between stock SC and mod buggy. I would have your son try driving someone's stock buggy so you can at least compare stock SC vs. stock buggy, then decide if going full on mod buggy is appealing. If you choose to stick with stock, the club racer is a killer deal.

@ChandlerThomasvoon1008 жыл бұрын
hey, obviously im not Jason, but i thought i could help you out. buying a b6D or any other 2wd buggy is a good investment. you learn how to build a kit, you can race, and you can improve your driving skills. 2wd buggy is the hardest class/ vehicle to run, therfore if you can master it, you can pretty much drive anything. as long as you are prepared to build the car and set up the electronics and do regular maintinance on it, i would go ahead and get one. hope that helps

i find 2wd truck and 2wd sc harder to drive. buggy have so much more pressure on the tire i find it harder to spin out and they don't kite (buggy cost less to run too). (but i run on fast low grip tracks)... for Israel what do the people at your track run? if most the fast people run mid motor 2wd buggy most likely the answer will be yes. can get parts for it? (Associated so most likely yes)! but i would ask someone if they let you drive their buggy at the track first to see if you even like 2wd buggy before you pay for a top lvl kit!!!!!
