Hey Ritch ! , I was a little upset when Ae didn't give the Fox V2 shocks with the B6d .. I have them on my B5m with the Jc extra shock bling .. but them Fox v2 shocks are really nice! I would recommend putting them on the buggy . the car just felt more planted and handled better .

Hey man. Really enjoying your videos. After finishing on the podium a few times during the rookoe race nights with my short course truck, I finally decided to take the leap into Buggies. I just ordered pretty much the same exact set up as you have except that I went with the B6 instead of the B6D. My local track runs on an almost clay like sticky dirt surface and everyone runs slicks so I really hope I made the right decision. Also got the Blackbox 800z with the Mach 3 17.5 and same servo as yours. Wish me luck and keep up the good work! Subscribed!!

Hi there. Checking back in with you since I really enjoy your videos. I have never rebuilt my shocks on the B6 and it is looooong overdue. Looking online however I could not find a rebuild kit for these shocks unless it is the same rebuild kit for another vehicle. Could you help me out with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Aloha Rich, from the Island of Kauai, Hawaii!! One of the most beautiful places in the world to live, unfortunately, there's not a lot of RC action going on here!! 😩 I am pretty much following your lead on everything to build my B6D!! I ordered my car and should have it in about a week, but I do have a few quick questions and would so much appreciate your help!! I understand the kit comes with tools to build it, but would you just recommend I get the tools that you were showing in this video? Would like to pick up two or three Reedy 5300 batteries, do you have a charger that you would recommend? I've already started building a nice full-size track on my property. The dirt here is what you would find on any typical RC rain forest track!!😀 (sorry I had to say that, but that's basically it ) lol 😀 It's soft with a loose top. It's almost cool feeling but not wet and sticky. What wheels and tires would you recommend for me? I'm probably speaking for a lot of people when I say thank you for all the great Videos and information!! The RCNetwork is top notch!! Rock on Rich!! Aloha!!

if you have parts to do so could you test fit and see want spring cups from other vehicles will work for the scte 2.0 because I would love some aluminum ones. I found some that are made for the tlr 22-4

Most of the aluminum one's I've seen are for 12mm shocks. The SCTE uses 15mm, I believe

Awesome video. it really wants me to get back into the hobby again for 20+ years of break. the only RC I have 20 years ago was a Tamiya CC01 which my father gave it to me as a gift and then I was pretty much hooked up with 4x4 off-road cars/trucks or buggies. I've been always wanting to have a buggy way back, and because of a very tight budget and also I was just a high school student back then. so right now I'm planning to get back racing in the dirt. would you recommend this one for a beginner like me? by just watching this video, it just ignite my spark on it like love at first site for the kit. lols! thanks and more power!

Awesome video. I was wondering if it was hard to get the kit servo horn on to your servo. When I tried to get the b5m 25 tooth kit horn on to my reedy servo it seemed too small. I was scared to smash it on there so i bought a tlr aluminum 25 tooth horn which snapped right on. How did this fit for you?
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it was tough - almost felt like the wrong size. I got it to where the teeth felt like they would engage and then dropped the horn screw in and started tightening down. It worked. I did order the FT aluminum version though.

wow , nice video , why do you torture us with so many RC Goodness Rich .. now I need to purchase another RC because of you .. I will definitely get one for the next indoor season. I'm really glad I waited this buggy is a nice update from the B5M .. By the Way Rich for your viewers , Multiply the torque (in kg/cm) by 13.88 and the result will be the equivalent in oz/in. . Since I began RC I always preferred to see the torque value in oz/in ... but I'm getting used to see more numbers in kg/cm so I have a rough idea what to look for now .. I am eager to see the finished videos and see you run it ..

Sorry! Yeah, RC is my main hobby right now along with KZbin and building a Network. Thanks for the conversion on KG to oz/in!

Does this battery compartment only fit shorty packs, or could I use a Gens ace 6000 mAh 70C pack?
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
It's most versatile with a shorty pack - you can move the pack forward and back for weight bias. It does have the space for Saddles or a Block sized pack, but at this time, I don't believe there's a battery strap for it.

just wandering, would it be stupid to think of a buggy for bashing? im bored of short course and stadium trucks and monster trucks are meh to me. im not saying this buggy but any other one?
@fondfarewell28 жыл бұрын
they are too light weight. use to bash my b4.2 around the street a little but off road it didn't work very well. if you do on road bashing it's fun to gear it up and haul add though. one of these new kits though I wouldn't recommend it cus they are just to pretty.
@feliciano13588 жыл бұрын
I have a buggy for bashin. I bought a arrma buggy for bashin. good parts support and very durable. A buggy Flys like nothing else that you have bashed. it's definitely different from the trucks.

+FILTHY5150RC I assumed we were talking about 2wd race level buggys.

It would be hard to watch......being such a nice race quality buggy, but I'm sure you can.....it will be a bit light and need some durability items

The RCNetwork i think it is a bit to expensive to be a basher anyway, do you know of any rc that looks as good, but more suited for bashing

I'm new to carbon fiber what's with the CA glue for it
@connor92998 жыл бұрын
So i doesn't wear to fast
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
CA glue helps seal the edges of the Carbon. If naked carbon gets hit, the ends start to fray and splinter...before you know it, the carbon starts to explode and weaken, especially if it gets hit again. CA flu just seals it up and hardens the edge
@diffman758 жыл бұрын

I have to disagree with you on the electronics this time they can be beat and they have been beat trinity d4 is much faster than the Mach 3 it's not roar legal but none of use will ever race nationals
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
There's a lot of factors when it comes to which motor is faster - the only way to really know is to take a M3 solder it in and drive. Then take the D4 and solder it in the same vehicle, same battery, same driver everything. What I meant by "beat" was putting a Reedy in a Team Associated vehicle. You can't beat that.
@TheStripcell8 жыл бұрын
It is the 3rd of July and you have not drove it yet? WT heck Rich. Ill beat the heck out of this kit on my $60 dollar home built 1/10th buggy track when I get it next week and I will tell enthusiasts straight up how it holds up to the B5m. Im no engineer but from what I can see in this vid that front end does not look to be as beefy as the b5m. kzbin.info/www/bejne/joqxqouVbpqmiLs I am no buggy snob but a im a common sense consumer and do not like all this hype.
@TheRCNetwork8 жыл бұрын
I'm enjoying a long time-ago panned vacation with my family if that's okay.....remember, it's a toy car we are talking about! lol As for the beefy front end on the B5M, it appeared beefy mostly because it used more plastic as a top plate - The B6D has a wider aluminum chassis in the front and requires less of a top plate. Hype over..... my friend
