Just bought a 2023 Sport in Feb to replace my 2021 Access Cab. The mileage dropped a couple MPG going to the Sport but the convenience of being able to carry 4 people (that's no-go in the Access Cab) and the parking assist technology (means my wife can drive it :)) made it worth the upgrade.

I really like my Access Cab SR5's, had 2 Third Gen's. 2016 2.7 2WD and my '18 3.5 4WD. Spent $300 combined for the TRD Pro grille and paint match Bumper Shellz, they look great. Iv stepped down from 1/2 ton trucks cuz the 6ft bed is big enough to haul atv's/dirt bikes and it tow my boats. The SR5's "cheaper" suspension rides plusher over bad roads and 16" wheels/tires have more cushion too. Legit 20/24 mpg with a $150 intake.

MSRP was $45,932...plus delivery, processing, handling $1335 Total was $47,267.00 Minnesota/last March/April. Waited two weeks. It came with everything I listed before which was pretty much everything including the OEM Tonneau Cover/all the electronics and cameras and sensors/pedestrian-cross traffic warning/Led headlights and sequence turn signals/auto trans. Came with leather -heated seats and the bed-light. It did not come with the Predator Steps or the Mudguards that I've bolted on myself since then...I added the OEM mat for the bed It is the shortbed (5 ft) model/double cab (4 doors). At the time the dealer also added $299 to the MSRP just because...Still very happy with it at 4500 miles.

I got my Dad the same one. Traded a 2022 Hyundai Veloster N and some 14k for the 2023 Tacoma TRD Sport. It is the same grey with road tires, steps, same. Thanks for sharing. I have not seen it yet.

I sold my Tacoma and purchased a Ridgeline. I hope the 24 Tacoma is greatly improved as there is just too much compromise if you aren’t a serious off-roader. Plus my Ridgeline was built in the USA.

Toyotas last forever; there's no question about that. It just looks so old in comparison to a lot of stuff on the market right now. I watched a Nissan Frontier video right before this, and until the Taco gets a refresh/redesign, it's not even close. 👎

The 2024 Tacoma is supposedly going to have a redesign but I would admit that the design has been the same but so has the frontier so over 15 years. I was also considering the frontier until I heard about the turn radius and when I test drove it, it was horrible. But then I still considered purchasing it until I found a trd sport in lunar rock at my local dealership but you can’t go wrong with the frontier it’s a very beautiful truck and Nissan is known to last forever as well. But if you are still considering the Tacoma, it might be best to see the 2024 model when it is announced as the design will be different
