-I tried to pronounce names correctly! I tried to look up how to pronounce Damjan Mravunac but I couldn’t find anything. I did find the interview below where he kind of explains how to pronounce it, and that’s where my guess came from.

just finished 2, to me the storytelling of 2 cannot peak talos 1. in the first game, i feel like a individual seeking for truth while the discoveries about the background of the game makes me think about those philosophical question or on my own. after finishing the first game, it even give me some existential crisis feeling, which is an absolutely amazing experience, considering how well it is put together. in the talos 2, it feels more like a reasonable puzzle game with philosophical thoughts being there for the sake of being there, there is not much beyond the game to think about compare to the talos 1. dont get me wrong, the talos 2 is a wonderful game, it just never makes me feel like a truth seeking philosopher, but more like a myth solving detective. also, if you wouldnt mind making spoiler, i really want to know how your deep thoughts about talos 2 is, since the video you made about talos 1 is absolutely amazing in my opinion. cheers!

My feelings are somewhat the same. I feel like talos 2 wasnt so confronting and thought provoking as the first. Its supposed to make you think on the 2 opposite positions about human development that show through the whole game, but when the Mayor, the big political figure behind the whole "equilibrium" stance is such a dumb brain dead character, that in the end didn't even believe in everything he says, it falls apart so hard. It always felt like the option of following the goal was so dumb bc of the dumb arguments and characters. Milton in the first game did heavy lifting on this part, always forcing you to question urself, even if you didn't agree with him or if the dialogue options didnt reflect your point of view. Thats what was missing in this game

i also never beat the first game (stoped at around 80% mark, it got too difficult to me), but i saw the ending on youtube so i bought the second game and it was easier, more accessible and one of my favorite games of all time now. so i suggest you to check out the 2nd game, they recap the ending of the 1st game at the very beginning anyway so in terms of plot you will be caught up.
