Another enjoyable video. FWIW, I've had the LP since it was released and it's a great one. For some reason this album always reminds me of the spectacular Gary Burton album whose jacket shows equal billing for Corea, Metheny, Haynes and Holland, Like Minds. Just love it.

I’ve been using this product in the concentrate form for probably eighteen years now. I have never followed the 60 seconds routine? In fact, I wasn’t even aware of it until very recently. I allow the fluid to remain on the disc for 6 minutes and 30 seconds once I have spread the fluid around the record using a MoFi pad. The fluid is then vacuumed off and that is followed by a thorough rinse using distilled water. The record then goes to my Klaudio ultrasonic RCM for a final cleaning. I have outstanding results. Like you, I don’t ‘hold’ with the 60 seconds routine. A soakage period works best. Before I bought the Klaudio RCM in 2014, I have to say that Vinylzyme worked really well for me as a very effective wet cleaning agent on its own. It would be interesting if you were to use it in the manner I have described above to see if it yielded better results? I think it would.

I appreciated the before and after inspections. Atleast this cleaner didn't bead-up on the record surfaces.

Hi, Quick question for you. I buy a lot of garage/yard/estate sale records. I recently bought a batch and most have a similar problem. The vinyl is nice and cleaned up well, but there remains "rash-looking" marks on most of them. I feel like this was caused by being stored in the original paper sleeves. In the world of fine art prints we would call this "foxing". This happens when a print has been stained by an acidic backing board over a period of time. Is there any way to remove these marks? I dont believe so. They dont seem to cause much noise when playing. Thoughts? Thanks, love your channel!

I know exactly what you're referring to and I agree, that is caused by rough paper inner sleeves. If there is a way to fix that, I am unaware, but your question has me intrigued and I will research it and maybe try a few experiments. Thanks for the question and thanks for watching.

At what moment does the manufacturer says you should start timing the 60 seconds? You first spread the solution with the Osage brush, took time and cleaned the brush and again used the brush to agitate the solution. It seems that all those actions took over 60 seconds.

I wondered the same thing and then I found a video of Todd Green using the product. I used that as a guide. Thanks for watching!
