Review - TOPDON The Artidiag 600 S Scanner Mid-range Diagnostic Tool. (Discounted until 16/04/22)

I have one that I bought with my own money - it has limitations but also has hidden strengths - it can bi-directionally inform a yokie that it has had a new DPF - useful. It however can't (or I can't get it to) speak to fuel pumps - which is almost a must these days - you need that pump pumping betimes. 600S say No... It's also hit & very miss on DPF regens, doesn't even bother trying on injector coding, is a bit sketchy on bi-directional leccy brake control & quite shonky on auto-scanning vins.. For live data, it is excellent - across most makes. I find myself using it in vanilla EOBD mode far too often for my liking, because it has sulked when asked to speak the same language as the vehicle you're at.. Battery life is also measured in milliseconds unless you keep it connected to some source of juice - it flattens its battery faster than any BMW if you turn your back on it - that annoys me too. In summation, it's alright, but only alright - you will swiftly find yourself yearning for a spendier model - my advice is to go for a higher spec machine unless you're just looking to read/erase faults - the "special function" list on the 600S is shorter than Tom Cruise - which will get on your wick quite quick. So much so that I ventured into the "Upgrade!" menu on it - ready to drop dollars on shiny upgrades. Yeah, no - that menu was also shorter than Tom. Push the boat out is my advise - buy a spendier version. You will thank yourself later.

How do you do a live Misfires Compression test ? Does this device detect a live Misfire if one of your Cylinder is not working? Can you make a video for us all to see ? Guide us all ?

He you mentioned Isuzu, we have a 2017 D-max pickup, have you tried this scanner on an Isuzu before? Just wondering if it will pickup codes for this brand of vehicle?

Hi I've got one of these the only thing is it doesn't seem to want to read the PIN code on my 13 plate fiat ducato it's a 3 l 180 have you got any ideas why you can probably see what it is for my profile picture

Decided to go for it ,used your link and used a code ,so £131.00...So will be interesting to see what its like ,,I don't do homers so will be for my car and a couple of friends so wont get a lot of use but free updates is a winner ...If it is useless you will get it at Haddenham if i see you lol
