Just my opinion, but New Holland has always made very good hay equipment. Great review and walkthrough.

Great video! One question what’s the purpose of the hour glass shaped roller hanging of the rear?
@farming4g5 ай бұрын
That's a flax or canola roller... basically gently flattens out the windrow to lower the chance of it blowing away in high wind situations since canola and flax can be light, fluffy. Doesn't prevent it all, but gives a better chance of staying put.

Do you like that machine well enough to have quit using the sickle bar mowers?
@farming4g9 ай бұрын
Always have a need for bar mowers yet... Rocky terrain and ditches for sure yet, even sloughs

arre u planning on farming the same ways your father did, or are u gonna quit livestock and do just grains. Silage would be the best way to go instead of making all them bales. i guess nothing will change as long as your father is still paying the bills.....

Don't need silage for beef cows... too expensive. Always will have cattle yet, but slowly cutting back.
