Thank you so much for all the tips on using my EZ Deluxe bow maker, I got for a Christmas gift about 2 years ago but all tutorials I have found werent very user friendly. I also am so glad someone mentioned that their dowels weren't staying in the holes as I too was having that issue. I took the suggestion of using wood glue and "Voila" worked like a charm! What do you think about placing painters tape around your easy bow maker to mark your distances. By doing this you would be able to see from the side where your targeted measurements are at

You can if you want if it will help you. I hand tie my bows and don’t use it except for teaching.

I love my EZ Bow maker because you can easily see how the bow is being formed. And right before you tie it up firmly I can fluff it up. I too have seen Damon and Kelea use the bow maker. The ultimate one has the rose dowel and have not purchase that one.

Enjoyed watching your video. I mostly use the Bowdabra, but have the EZ Bow also. It has been intimidating to me in the past, but your instructions make the directions much clearer. I just watched your video. Thanks for sharing your ideas. FYI, the smaller dowel you didn't know what to do with should be placed next to the two main dowels. It is there to help the main dowels from splaying too much. I don't really thinks it helps much, but that's it purpose!

I’ve never tried a funky bow because it looks hard for me to hold. I use the EZ bow every Christmas and will absolutely give this a try. Also, my dogs head shot up when she heard the squeaky toy.😂

If your hands get numb or cramp, you are prob holding the ribbon too tight. Try easing off your grip.

Video great but I was not as successful as you and returned my EZ Bow Make because I could not get the pegs to stay in place. They popped out every time I tried to use the bow maker. I am going to purchase another EZ Bow Maker and try, try again.Yes, I used a hammer. I will succeed. Will use wood glue as you suggested. KEEP BOWING

It's called the "Deluxe" because the original only used the two center dowels. I bought mine in the early 2000's.

My funky bow technique using both 2.5 ribbon but one ribbons is made from ribbon print of team 1 and the other team 2. Don’t mix up the loops after the bow is made.

Yes, you can use a pipe cleaner, a zip tie, string or other ribbon. Pertty much whatever you want to hold your bow together with.

Do not glue it unless you have space to store it like that ...I tap in in with my wire cutters side or if it is new sand the rods down a little bit
