Thanks. Just ordered an orange model. Will use it in my pick-up truck to get out and enjoy some daylight this cold winter.

There are numerous channels on the expanded band (72-76) which are used in the US for Churches, museums, theme parks etc. for hearing impaired and informational purposes. I've done extensive reading on this.

Having used it for two days, it seems basically the same as the 220, but on mine the physical dial pointer is off more than usual on these types of radios. I just use mine as a bedside table radio for casual listening. I EXTREMELY appreciate the weather band replacement for the useless (in North America) Japanese FM frequencies.

I might add that I don’t get the whistling on AM in my area which is adjacent to the Los Angeles area.

Gilles, does the XHDATA D-220 make those birdie sounds on your AM? The D-221 was producing some sounds?

My D-220 does not have that problem. But I’m in a different area than Gilles. 📻🙂

Hello officialSWLchannel I was wondering if you could recommend any shortwave radio capable of scanning saved frequencies only, with ssb. Thanks love your videos.

It's time for XHDATA to make a premium radio. They have plenty of cheap radios

There's the D808, unless that's not premium enough for you. I just want a D219 with a better RF frontend.

Loookd like a good radio for the pride, but not a good radio for someone new to shortwave.
