I LOVE how sultry and dramatic this look is!! And I totally agree that a matte lip was the way to go. The only time I personally like a bright glossy lip is when I have a more neutral or even plain eye. Watching this video really made me want to play with some of my makeup and create something I normally don’t lean towards.

I’m really careful and selective on what I bring in but I’m kinda regretting getting a blush. I have been wanting the pat mcgrath nude Venus blush for so long and finally got it. But it’s not performing like I hoped! It takes awhile to show up and as soon as I build it up to see it then it’s too much! Am I missing something? The formula and color should have been exactly what I love 😩🤷🏻‍♀️

I actually bought and returned the CT palette😬.. I know. But the highlighters were too deep for me. I only really LOVED the more “nude” blush. I found myself trying to justify liking the pink blush and highlighter as a blush topper but the champagne one was straight gold and just dark on me in a way that wasn’t flattering-so the idea of a $75 palette in which I only loved one out of four pans wasn’t enough. I liked the pink but I knew I would wear it maybe twice and more so in the spring time. I hope her single highlighters are as smooth looking so I can finally pick up a shade that’s actually made for me. I also picked up the pop shots and I half regret getting Cosmic Rocks & Diamond Eyes but I’m keeping them. I’m so in love with the other shades I snagged. I also picked up the Pat McGrath quints and I’m glad I did and I will probably be picking up some of the new ones. And I super regret missing out on Oden’s Eye but I’m Jewish so it would have felt weird if I had snagged them, honestly. But that’s a me thing.

If it makes you feel any better, I've heard some bad reviews about it. The shimmers are gritty and quality doesn't seem as good as usual Oden's Eye.

@@cndc0618 I spent all year regretting missing the 3 collabs that came out last year! So, I got Angelica’s palette (even tho I was meh about the color story).. all of the shimmers in that one are hard to work with, and were immediately hard pan! I still got the Christmas ones, and they are gorgeous! The shimmers are a little chunky in some, and I can tell the multichromes will become hard pan if I’m not careful with them. Sometimes I think the company is sending a different formula to people who have KZbin channels! Lol

I’ve been using the blues from Solmane II and red/green looks from other palettes to sooth the fact that I missed them. Someone is flipping one for $155 on Poshmark and I was like - I don’t regret it $155 worth. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Welcome to the Viseart hype train 😆👌🏻. Also picked up the CT singles, in Smokey Quartz and Emerald Eyes (both gorgeous!). If you feel a bit of fomo for the green colour and like the Viseart quads, I'd highly recommend Peridot 🥰 Some of the best greens in my collection and provides more versatility for a similar price point. I'm in the process of putting Smokey Quartze on my own eyes and am interested to see where you go with the Violetta colours too 🤔

I love chatty GRWM's, that's what I do on my channel, I do unedited start to finish grwm's, I do a lot of full face one brands, and I used to do a lot of colorful eye looks, now I'm more on a neutral tone downed kick, but that never lasts too long lol, I'm also almost 43 so I do a lot of textured and mature skin stuff♡ but I love ur personality and have been binge watching!!

Viseart: I'd highly recommend trying the Paris Edit.. it doesn't look "thrilling" in the pans but they are so incredibly easy and beautiful to work with. Hands down my favorite palette of theirs (and I own a stupid amount of their products)

With regard to palettes Viseart is the only Holiday sale I shopped. I got San Francisco on release and was in love with it so bought London while it was on sale to complete the collection and ended up loving that one too. I love my whole Viseart collection. I’m don’t have any of the quads but was tempted.

I did the same thing, except with just the bronze bliss & then when I did finally decide to pull the trigger it was gone. Soooo, instead I ended up getting my first mothership (went with the latest) - with the holiday sale plus 15% off for signing up for text it brought it down to half price & I just couldn’t resist! The only thing I’m kicking myself over is that I also REALLY want the Lisa Eldridge Vega palette & it would have been about the same price between that & the PM order I put in (also got the holiday blush palette & the blue mascara🤦🏼‍♀️). I got the LE Myth palette & I’ve literally never had a shadow blend like that (like seriously unreal, esp for purple tones!!) & I know I’d get more every day wear out of the Vega. I picked Myth bcuz last big makeup purchase was the Glam palette so I figured that I already had cool tone shades. All of which is ridiculous given I’m still working from home & rarely get out of sweats let alone put makeup on - that makeup monster is real AF!! Jesus, sorry for the novel, lol

Those Viseart Violetta and Lilas Deux quads gave me a "zing" when I first saw them, but I didn't get them then. Now I got a "zing" again, and I went and ordered them (and included the original Lilas quad, as well). Yeay! ....... "Is this the moment it becomes tacky? I think so!" That was funny.😀 ....... The second lip color is great - and love this whole look very much! I picked up 4 holiday face palettes this year and only kept 2. I returned the Patrick Ta and Tarte, and kept the Charlotte Tilbury and the Hourglass Butterfly. I’m still not sure about the blushes in that one, tbh. If the Pat McGrath ones didn’t have so many duplicate shades of ones I already own, I would’ve picked that up too. I managed to talk myself out of the NARS face palette this year because realistically I would only wear half the shades, but the collector in me really wanted it.

About the brush smelling weird. As much as I love IT cosmetics brushes, They smell disgusting for some reason! I’ve washed mine five times and it’s like it’s making it stronger. Almost like when you give a dog a bath and then they smell musty haha. My new brush from them has this bizarre weird smell and I hate it! I have a couple older ones that I think I remember having the same issue with but the odor wasn’t nearly as strong then. I’m like what is happening lol. Not sure if you were using an it cosmetics brush but that has been my recent experience with their foundation brushes and I’m so confused

I wanted one of those stupid Kiko Milano holiday blushes in the red compact.... I held off and held off because I have enough blush to last a lifetime. And then when I FINALLLLY wanted something to add to my cart to get to free shipping with Ulta or something.... it was sold out. And I don't want to order one thing off the brand's website. I'm kinda bummed, lol.
