You're so right about the impeccable quality of PS2 games. Back then you didn't need to read articles or watch reviews to settle on a game. You'd walk through the shop, grab a game with appealing artwork, check out the screenshots on the back, buy and enjoy. Gaming was far more simple, trustworthy, reliable and most important of all, positive.

Christmas Day 2007.. a young boy from the Maritimes is gifted a ps3 along with a copy of motorstorm and Heavenly Sword. My life changed that day. I felt like Ralphie when he opened the red Ryder bee bee gun. Keep up the great work Kev, love this channel

It cost Sony almost $900 to make the 60gb PS3 and sold it for a lot less. Fist console to have hdmi and wifi. North America's first blu-ray player and it even plays SACD. My favorite console of all time and that is why I have three launch models with one of them having a 65nm GPU.

About owning a physical copy of your game, Ubisoft once said that buying a copy of the game doesn't means really owning it anymore, and than people are replying back saying that if buying doesn't means owning, then emulation doesn't means piracy anymore. Ubisoft agrees on emulating every assassins creed, according to it's staff.

PS1 made gaming cool and not just for nerds. If you had a PS1, youd get the girls. Not just an era defining console... but THE console which defined gaming and made it what it is today. Easy the best :D Also there are more games on the PS1 than any console... ever... well into the 7500's :)

The best thing about the PS2 was that it could barely play games. The fat model had problem's playing CD-Rom based games, while the slim model would burn your discs and leave scratches on them.

I got them up to the PS3 and still have it, was happy enough with it, got the 4 as a gift and never opened it and sold it, couldn't care less, they just smoothed some stuff out as an excuse to keep going, I felt the graphics got good enough by the time 3 got here and it did enough as well, still use my super slim to this day.

I still consider PS2 & PS3 as one of the best Sony consoles ever invented. PS1 isn't bad either, but you can pretty much play all PS1 games on systems I already mentioned. PS4, while I do like the controller and the UI, it was also at that time where Sony slowly became corrupt & PS5 is a straight nail to the coffin. Aside from the Nintendo Switch, I haven't bothered looking up any new consoles as of late. Heck, I might be considering getting an XBOX 360 in the near future, since I could care less about modern XBOX consoles.

PS2 & PS5 are my favorites. PS1 is above ranking, its just legendary. loved playing the greatest hits for the arcade games As a kid. Blasto, Tomba, & Toy Story 2 were my favorite games as a kid.

PS1 was the game changer, it's Sony's debut console that competed with SEGA and Nintendo and beat them both by a landslide. The first Playstation was so successful that Microsoft saw what Sony did and went into the video game market to compete against the PS2.......because Microsoft realized the video game industry was a billion dollar industry.

Honestly I think the ps5 is a great system , it’s just frustrating that the first party games are all but absent. This generation has been the most disappointing by far and when comparing to the last generations of Sony …the ps5 gets its ass kicked. Let’s hope they have a few quality single player titles coming soon instead of ….live service games, I want themes and folders back on the ps5 as well lmfao

Got me a ps2 fat and 360 E to play on..sick of jumping on to play and having updates and downloads and having to install games. I still got some new xbox series x games but i need the 360 and ps2. When i just WANT TO PLAY and can just DO THAT you know? Willy nilly no hassle.

I got lucky last Friday, I bought a "broken" PS3 Slim 2501A for $20 bucks, it needed a firmware install. Now it has a hacked firmware with a 50% GPU overclock (750/900) and a 500GB/8GB SSHD

The PS4 is 10 plus years old and still looks more modern then a PS5, especially the PS4 slim model, really is peak for me. PS4>PS2>PS3>PS5.

From a design standpoint the PS5 looks far more modern than PS4. That doesn't mean it looks good though. Sony went too far with the curves and odd shape. A traditional rectangular shape would've been superior, especially compared to Xbox Series dumb cuboid shape.

PSA: PS3's with CFW can play about any PS2 games and even better than backwards compatible PS3s. PS3 Fat and Slim as well

As touched on in the video, the PS5 is a fine console without really many games... It's almost like a PS4 Pro - Pro etc where all it really does now is bump PS4 titles (that sometimes started out as PS3 games originally) up in resolution and frames. And often not even that... It wouldn't matter if it had literal Star Trek TNG tech under the hood - if there's very few games to play then it's ultimately pointless. I know it's been said a million times but this is what really separates the PS2, PS3 and (on the other side) 360 eras. The games.

12:13+ i treated mine with some thermal grizzly kryonaut and thermal grizzly minus pad 8, and now you cant hear this PS4 Pro at all... (COD MW, God of War, Horizon Zero Down - dont even get the fan spinning properly). All you can hear is the bluray drive spinning, or the HDD loading xD EDIT: Sony's default cooling paste & pads are simply a nightmare. Almost feels like meant kill the consoles within a certain time.

Unpopular opinion, but I feel as if the backwards compatible PS3’s are massively overrated. Sure it plays PS2 games, but other than that it’s overrated. It was so poorly designed that there’s is a grave yard of these consoles on eBay now. You also have people charging anywhere from $200-$350, they’re not worth that price at all. Get a PS3 Slim and PS2 instead and if the PS2 game has been ported to the PS3, just get the PS3 version.

I mean sure, but I don’t now anyone actually spending $200-$350 on these things. I bought an bc ps3 last year for $60. And that included two controllers and a bunch of games from Facebook Marketplace. And I mean, in my experience, these systems always ran cool, and lasted forever. My original PS3 still works. I gave it to my cousins a few years back. Hell that’s the only reason why I bought another one.

Ok sure hate me but in my opinion the ps5 sucks ass. The PS1 To PS4 is still peak to this day it's just a simple console that has a proper menu with the 3 and 4 while the ps5 has a messy hud and its just not cool. PS4 got more games on release besides the ps5. Cheap prices for ps1 to 4. However with PS5 its still 500 dollars which is annoying

I like the PS5 controller the most and it plays almost all the PS4 games with better frame-rates and it doesn’t sound like a hairdryer or vacuum cleaner playing games.
