that maxima is a 2002-2003 5.5 gen. theyre vq35de 6 speed cars. 2000-2001 cars look mostly the same but are vq30de and five speed like the 94-99, you can tell the difference between the years from the front bumper and that the later model has HID headlamps. great cars, cannot turn, look great lowered.

I understand the convertible hate to a certain extent, I have a convertible fox body and I love it but it's the only convertible I would ever own, they are mechanically simple, actually designed for the car, and when the top is up it keeps the same shape as the notch back.

feed's rant about the t-top is weirdly similar to my experience with owning a mk2 citroen c3. they have a big ass panoramic windshield that scorches you and that you CAN slide a cover on but like yeah what, am i gonna NOT use the full windshield on a sunny day?

That said, some models are good, some are bad. If yours is bad, get a rated bolt in roll cage. T-top safety entirely depends on how it was designed.

CCF has some okay takes at times... but a good number are cringe in and of themselves at times as well. Ducktails are great on retro/classic cars (depending on the model & make), it just depends on who's doing the installation and where their getting it from.
