Fun fact Mario Circuit 3 was the first course coded into Super Mario Kart making it the very first Mario Kart track ever (I know how you may feel about it but it does provide some explanation for why it has appeared so much)

Tour RMX Mario Circuit 1 is basically a SNES Mario Circuit 5, it takes what the other SMCs did and combines them into a decent track. It even adds elevated areas to drive on and trick off of. Definitely a solid track.

I genuinely love Mario Circuit 3 in MK8D because it’s just a fun go-kart track with some good turns, a fun racing line and not much in the way of gimmicks to shake up races. It’s one of the best RACING tracks for Mario Kart in my opinion - but I understand that isn’t necessarily what others look for in Mario Kart.

I pretty much agree with your rankings overall, but I'm especially happy to see Wii U Mario Circuit get such a glowing ranking! I grew up with DS and Wii when I was in elementary school, but MK8 is the game that has been in my life since graduating middle school. As such, I'd say its Mario Circuit is definitely most nostalgic for me (what with it being in a lot of the original game's marketing and it being a stage in Smash for Wii U). It's not like an "objective S-tier" in the grand scheme of Mario Kart courses (especially when taking 8DX's already stacked course content into account), but I just think it's an incredibly fun track. I love holidng super long drifts (especially in 8DX), I think the Möbius strip layout is clever, the Piranha Plants can be legitimate obstacles if not careful, and the music is great. I agree that it's the best Mario Circuit and I think it should really be talked about and respected more!

Imma get controversial, DS Mario Circuit absolutely clears DS Airship Fortress. Half the latter's layout is just a being as spiral, and the other half is straight track. The only good thing about the course is it's theme, but DS Mario Circuit has always been way more fun to actually drive on

I love seeing appreciation for 8’s Mario Circuit. I generally hate on tracks that are shaped like figure-8s because they’re so overused (GCN Luigi Circuit, DS F8C, Wii Mario Circuit, Toad Circuit) but the use of antigravity making you do it twice in one lap is just so fun, and this is the track where I really feel the impact of antigravity the most. Also it’s the MORBIUS STRIP GUYS

Mario and Luigi Circuits seems to have a lot of references from real life European Circuit. The very first Mario Circuit looks like Henggroning to me, and it seems to be proved with some of its remake and new version in newer games looks like incorporated more features from this track. The Luigi Circuit have a lot of early Italian track references, and the Luigi Circuit in Mario Kart Wii is just basically the current layout of Autodromo Nazionale Monza without chicanes.

Maybe you didn't grow up playing the original Super Mario Kart like I did but I have actually used a mushroom to go over that ramp at the end which makes it go really high when you do that and if you go left enough you will go over that wall and there's actually a jump at the end of it which will bounce you out. My three favourite Mario circuits are probably GCN Mario Circuit, SNES Mario Circuit 4 and Wii Mario Circuit. The GCN one feels authentically Mario and is quite enjoyable, the SNES one is a fair challenge (that has somehow never been remade), and the Wii one is both nostalgic and also true to the feeling of Mario (and I like MKWii's aesthetic).

Something you forgot to mention for 8’s Mario Circuit is that if you are in any kind of boost (even a mini turbo) in MK8DX, Piranha Plants actually can’t bite you. So it’s an interesting piece of tech to take the turns tighter if you release your mini turbo right before you get to the plant.

About that part about the weird bump in mario circut 2 mk7, that's been there since SUPER mario kart, and (as the only fan of that game I can officially say) that it was always there to begin with. It's the normal jump block from that game,not to be confused with the brown one, and in mario kart 7 it's got the craziest tas out of the mario kart 7 tracks.

For me, mk8's is the best Mario circuit. Not only does it take full advantage of the game's main gimmick, but it also gives the track a new arrangement while keeping the melody of mk stadium (every game before would have 2 or 3 circuit themed tracks with the game music

3:25 What makes this Mario circuit track the best is also when you're doing the Grand Prix and you place a banana peel or a green shell right before that ramp and if a computer runs into it they stop but then when they try to go over the ramp they don't have enough speed so they just bump into the wall and they have to go back around again and again and sometimes they will do that for the rest of the race and so much fun to totally screw them over that way.😂

The thing about the jokes in your videos that set them apart from videos with similar joke styles is how your reoccuring jokes start to feel like comfort food. I can always feel solace in the facts that I will most likely hear a metal pipe falling, see FNAF imagery, and experience a reference to Dry Bones in your videos. Also I appreciate the transition to Mario Kart 8 being upside-down.

One tiny OCD nitpick I have about the MK8 remake of the GBA Mario Circuit is that the trees are growing at an angle that suggests that that part of the track is usually left in its raised position instead of being lowered when not in use. So then…why is it in the lowered position just to be raised again before the race to begin with?
