12:58 The X-E1 came after the X-Pro1 as a less expensive camera. So it was not the first mirror less in the product line.

That’s a great list…started my street photography with an old Nikkormat, till I discovered digital…began with a GRDigital(the original) which I bought brand new and still use, then a GXR with M mount module and several other modules, Fujifilm X-e2 and canon 5D Classic..still use them all…Street photography rocks, I’ll be doing till I drop!

Great video, always wanted to get into the fuji system but haven't yet. I just got a few weeks ago a canon m6mk2 with a 22mm f2 and love using it. It's so much more compact than my canon mirrorless and f 1.2 lens set up. For everyday, family and street photos, I love this camera, too bad canon discontinued this mount. Love all your videos on film. Keep up the great work!

Panasonic GX9...Olympus epl8...ep7...Sony A7c ...A7s..A7...EOSrp...several Fuji bodies as well...I can make due with any of these along with a full set of glass. (owned them all). including lots of film bodies...( been shooting since the late 60's as a kid). I love "full spectrum modified" bodies as well. Cheers

My all black Fujifilm X-M1 is so lightweight and pocketable. It’s basically the same as the X-E1. Fantastic filmic look and beautiful street photography camera

I have a very rare white and black X-E1 in pristine condition as well as 2 X-t1 and 1 X-t2, X-T4, The latest model has all the better auto focus and settings but none of the filmic look of the earlier Fujifilm cameras. I also purchased through MPB 3 x X-M1 and I wish I purchased more as these are going through the roof as an investment.

Thank you for your review your majesty. I used film in the day but once I’ve used digital I can’t go back. I’ve tried the Ricoh. I liked the images coming out of that machine. I didn’t bond with the 28mm focal length. I tried the GRiiix. Liked the focal length but can’t deal with the lack of an EVF. A deal breaker for me. I love my GX8/85/9. Maybe the 9 the most. No audio jac but love the L monochrome D B&W jpegs. Also the IBIS. The body and lenses are small and lightweight. M43 is good enough for me. Then there is Fuji. Love the dials and nobs. Love the film sims. Have the XE1, X100T, XT30, and XPRO2/3. Nice output. Nice glass. I love Fuji. I use Acros with the red filter and velvia. Great film sims. Put an order in for the X100VI the day it was announced. Waited three months and cancelled the order. I’m not waiting a year for the camera and not paying a premium. Found an unexpected pile of money and bought a Sony A7C with the 35/2.8. A full frame full frame X100VI with interchangeable lenses. I’m still undecided if I like it. Crazy all the cameras I own. I don’t feel an allegiance to any of them. They are all fun to use and give me the output I want. No more cameras for me. I have to use the gear I own. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)

I've compared the XA and the Stylus Epic side by side. There must be some difference between the lenses - the Stylus gives a lot nicer contrasts! The XA is always just a bit flat. Maybe it's the coating? I've also had the Canonet QL17 GIII in the comparison - clear winner for me! Certainly not as stealthy as the XA, though.

A bit random, but, if you are self conscious taking pictures outside, I've found that the old TLRs are bizarrely non-threatening, and definitely get the most positive interactions. They are usually leaf shutters, and around a 50mm equiv. Probably not ideal for classic street, but if you lean more in the "people"/"portrait", it's worth considering maybe?

I just got a Fujifilm X-A3 to pair with the TTartisans 27mm f/2.8 I found for $5 and I like what it’s giving me. Wish it had a viewfinder but I like the camera so far. Perfect for traveling.

Love my x-e2. I use with manual focus lenses and using it is simple and a lot of fun. It's a little faster, has better peak focus colors. I enjoy it a lot. Surprised that fuji's cameras have been up in price. I got my x-e2 for $300 before the prices went up.

Finally a video where more than 1 camera is less than $1000 i don't have a very big budget and don't really know much about cameras so I've been struggling to find something that I can afford that is decent. Thank you for not listing every other fuji camera that costs 3k lol

I used to love the Fuji system, but now they are some of the worst cameras for street, because they are very trendy, people are going to notice and stare or even aproach you to speak about the camera (lately same with Leica, but a leica can get you stabbed depending of which street and country you are shooting lol) and thats the worst for candid and the worst if your intention is to be not noticed. In my opinion the best camera is the one the people ignore on the streets, right now the ricoh gr is good for that and (maybe not for to long because influencers/sellers) also all the sony crop sensor... with sony crop cameras people on the street will not take you seriously (but you can create very serious photos) and i love that vibe... plus i dont understand these film simulation trends (im older i grew up with film) in my opinion its just marketing.... dont get me wrong, beautiful presets but not looking like original film at all, maybe a lot of the younger photographers fall into that because they are not familiar with film, again the fuji presets are very beautiful but youll get more film vibes using light room with any Raw file of any camera (to edit is part of the fun, right? back in my days half of the magic happened inside the dark room and that was very cool to do and watch) For me: Sony a6400 with any pancake lens (lately the ttartisan 28mm f2.8) Ricoh Gr3x Sony rx100 mk7

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the content of your video, which is both informative and motivational. But.. I have a hard time digesting the tight editing of your speak, where literally every pause or breath is cut down to a fraction of a second. Machine-gunning the narrative gets really exhausting to listen to. I was watching your "thrifting a Leica" video, which was a delight. Soft spoken, patient not forced. To me, that is how I enjoy watching great content like yours. With all due respect, my five cents.

Man, I just caught you cheating on this video! Explanation: you reposted some of your earlier work in this video, when you talked over it saying that it was shot on some digital camera, while many videos back when you showed this work for the first time, you said it was film (portra 400, ilford hp5+ pushed to 1600). Care to explain?! CHEATER!😮
