You know what? I agree with Oli,I think the Kane and Lita story is worse than Katie Vick. The Katie Vick story was horrible, don't get me wrong. But the fact that Kane turned face after everything he did to Matt and Lita,and then they made Lita the heel by leaving the guy she never loved to begin with is way worse in my opinion.

Never forget: Summerslam 2019 was our peak into edges return. He speared Elias and was the first time he got physical sense his retirement and the rumors of him being cleared started as Edge denied it until his actual return at royal rumble a few months later.

Some of the 3 word games I would have used: 1994- Last weeknight SummerSlam (The first 6 SummerSlams were on Monday night) 1995- Calm Before Storm (this was 1 week before WCW Monday Nitro debuted) 1996- Worse than 95 (1995 at least had the ladder match and a decent opener) 2004- Women's division nadir (Divas Dodgeball............. why?) 2005- 13 years later (Washington DC was the original planned US location for SummerSlam 1992 until they went to Wembley) 2006- Roster overhaul looming (Kurt Angle had just being released before SummerSlam 06, Jeff Hardy returned a few weeks later, Trish and Lita would be gone by the end of the year) 2007- Worst at Meadowlands (This was the same building that hosted better versions of SummerSlam in 1989/1997) 2008- Movie theater entrance

I remember SummerSlam 2020. No one knew for sure that Reigns was a heel until the Friday after SummerSlam when he was revealed to be a Paul Heyman Guy. Then his first feud against Main Event Jey cemented it, and the rest is history.

Yes, Luke, Kane raping a woman is worse than Triple H claiming Kane is a necrophile, and what's even worse than that is, after the miscarriage, they tried to position Kane as the avenging babyface in his feud with Snitsky. SummerSlam 2000, Blackman vs. Shane: Foley's. Dick. Move. I can't remember what show he was on where he talked about this, but he mentioned that the catering that night was excellent and he went back for some more right as Shane took his fall and Linda was in the room, watching and clearly scared for her son. And instead of doing *anything* smart or polite, Mick was like, "I'm just gonna grab some more food, don't mind me," got it, and then left without saying anything else.

Burying Nexus was the best thing happened to Wrestling.. We got Bray Wyatt (Cult Leader / Fiend) Daniel Bryan (Rise of Bryan) Only potential Main Eventer got screwed was Wade Barrett. 7:37 Ollie is right, I think. At least Katie Vick is a made up person, and the necrophelia never actually happened. In storyline, Kane actually did drug and rape Lita whilst impregnating her. The whole Katie Vick thing was just HHH claiming that Kane commited necrophelia, and then the video was HHH doing it in jest. Both are low brow, but one was a story about something actually happening and the other was a story about one guy making false accusations.

I’m not disagreeing with you But just the fact Cena got to do all that stuff he did with no repercussions REALLY shows how bad the writing was back then It was practically children’s cartoon levels He got to FREELY assault all of them and invade the backstage areas with NO issues even though at that time he was FIRED And yet this is the same company that proudly showcases its greatest feud between Vince and Austin where Steve gets escorted out of the building handcuffed by police whilst still employed Where as Cena gets no such problem for assaulting the Nexus whilst UNEMPLOYED …also in the same case he was arrested too by JBL for vandalism regarding his limo in the lead up to their Mania match for Cena’s first world title While he was employed also Oh and of course all the videos of fans attacking wrestlers live during the shows as well My suspension of disbelief is dead at this point
