Nice trailer! quick suggestion; Get yourself a second set of keys for your truck, toolbox etc to keep in your pocket at all times so you can stop at rest areas or anywhere else really and leave the engine running to keep the a/c running and lock it up. Its an old truckers trick which I use even on my 2 personal trucks-a '99 F350 & an '08 Ranger.

Hey bro, keep making your videos because, Im making a deal on a 2023 trailer in the state of Missouri and when you did the review on this Norstar trailer.. I went over to the Ward Brothers website and looked on their site. Saw the trailer that you have and also another trailer with the mega ramps. so you're saying you're GVWR is 14,000 for the trailer and 10,000 for the truck but I was told you could only be 26,001 lbs total truck trailer and load??? this means you can only have a 2001 LB load???

So GVWR is different than your curb weight. Your GVWR is what DOT will look at to make sure that you are under 26,001 pound if you are non CDL. So if I go to a weigh station and weigh my truck and trailer and it comes out to 17,000 pounds then that means I can pull 9,000 pounds as non cdl. 26,000 - 17,000= 9,000 if I’m correct

That’s correct! Also, DOT officials will look at your Trailer Registration to ensure you are not in violation of the trailer “Carrying Capacity”. So…. Empty Weight + Carrying Capacity = Trailer Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). I hope this makes sense.
